Armor Designs You'd Like to See in ME: Next

The material used in the reinforced areas on ME's armors looked very thin - as if it were made of some high-tech, space age material. It got a lot thicker, more metallic looking in ME2-3, sort of like a throwback to medieval armors. I felt that the thinner materials used in ME were very appropriate for the setting.
A few requests:
1) Please lose the wedgies. The idea of tucking some material between one's buttcheeks in preparation for a military inspection or firefight is just weird.
2) Armor should provide full coverage and leave no bare skin exposed.
3) I'm not a fan of boob pockets like Liara & Ashley have in ME3. As a boob-bearing member of the population, I find myself thinking about the process of having to strip down and shove the girls into those individual pockets in order to suit up for a mission. Ungainly, uncomfortable, impractical are the terms that come to mind - and they create more surface area to catch enemy fire, which is bad armor design. Armor can be attractive and sexy and still look practical and functional.

I haven't any examples to share, just some general comments / requests.

I agree completely with this.
The designs that looked lighter or thinner were more in keeping with the direction of modern technology. The helmets worn by modern soldiers for example are lighter than the steel pots worn by their grandfathers in World War Two, yet better at protection. That trend is going to continue, with advances in technology continuing to provide equipment that is lighter but that provides equal or better protection for the wearer. Also the lighter the equipment, so long as protection isn't sacrificed, the better it is from a military point of view. You don't want to sacrifice mobility or strain the wearer's endurance any more than you need to. The bulky power armors that you see in many Sci Fi series, that look like 100 pounds of metal, never made sense to me for that reason.

That's all true, but weapons and armour are susceptible to evolution, as in the "evolutionary arms race" (no pun intended). What I mean is, the better the protection/armour becomes, weapons will evolve to compensate and vice wersa.
And even though the armours may look bulky and heavy they may be light as a feather for all we know. For example the Spartan armour from Halo, the plates particularly, were actually super light ceramic carbide sci fi space armour iirc.

Is this even a contest? Nightmare armor ftw! But definitely don't want the wedgie.

I would love the Blood Dragon Armor if its the same armor in DA2 where you kill a dragon for it. Of course, its not practical but hey... champion armor!

Please no more exposed body parts in space/vacuum. I'm looking at you, Jack. And you, Miranda. Samara. Liara. Kasumi...
Wear a helmet or stay on the ship. Then get rid of boob plate and I am good with whatever you throw at me. Almost.

Here are some armor designs that I think might fit in the next game
SpoilerSpoilerSpoiler
The first one is one of my favourite fan design. Aside from that I have to agree that wedgies, boob sockets and breather masks always looked kind of stupid. I do fencing irl and women have to wear compulsory plastic breatplates. They do have room for the breasts, but they're not boobsockets and it's one space, as in one room for both breasts, not for each one like you tend to see in videogames.
Also I hope the Blood Dragon armor makes a return. I know it's not for everyone but I just love the aesthetic (as if you couldn't tell with my avatar). A helmet toggle for all armors would be good too, as the comic before pointed out any dlc armor in which you had to always have the helmet on looked a bit stupid if you tried to drink. If we can't have the BD armor back at least the helmet could make a comeback on its own. I love the rounded look and the faceplate leaving only room for the eyes.
