Varric really is OP if you know how to build him.
But since you asked, here's Sera in action:
NICE thats some crazy stuff XD
I wonder if they expected people to find these builds.
Everytime i try that **** with Varric, i get glitched under the map. Why hasn't that been fixed yet? It is game breaking after all.
I mean, I was pretty impressed with myself duoing the Ravager with Blackwall and my Archer Assassin in about five minutes, but damn...
Without the tonics it's harder to do it solo, but you can still kill the level 23 dragon before it has time to stand up if you bring Cole and Sera together:
yah i think they need to nerf rogues pronto XD

....no

insta killing dragons is waaay to unbalanced. Rogues need to be toned down.

Imagine having an Inquisitor with the same setup as Sera. It would be dead twice as fast!

Actually, this particular design philosophy, whether intended or not, makes me repect the combat design team greatly.
If Dragon Age Inquisition was an MMO, Rogues would have been nerfed to the ground in a matter of days.
MMO's development philosophy of fetishistic obsession with balance tends to taint the fun of every class.
On the other hand, DA:I gave you enough tools to completely break the game. I believe this is something to be celebrated in today's gaming culture.
Let people abuse it all they want. That is completely fine. ![]()
You don't have to abuse it if you wish, but we should always leave people the choice as long as it doesn't harm other players.
Balance belongs in a game like Age of Empires and Starcraft.
It is simply not needed in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Players should be able to choose whatever method they want. If they want to do it in god-mode? We should let them.
We have no right to control how people should play their game.
I can see the argument, "It trivialises the game and hurts people for their choice in choosing classes."
I think people should be able to derive to that kind of conclusion on their own.
The journey to reach that conclusion is part of the fun.
New players deserve the same opportunity to experience what you experienced. The same excitement and ultimate thrill the Rogue class can offer before we nerf it.
My point is that telling people, "You shouldn't be able to play this way, because it's boring!!!" is sort of forcing my ideals. We should not force them.
Please allow me to leave you with this.

"Essentially Schaefer is saying that these “imbalance spikes” are an important part of what makes loot-centric RPGs so exciting. As long as they’re temporary, there’s nothing wrong with the player feeling super-powerful for a period of time."
