I think I've hung out with too many marines lately because every time I see her act psycho I want to relieve her from duty and tell her "you're undisciplined!"
I just want my Warden to show up and help her" find herself " again...

I suppose people feel she should have disappeared like other companions from Origins? They all did. Except Morrigan.
And she got a dedicated DLC! Oh wait, so did Morrigan...
Don't get me wrong, I love Morrigan as much as Leliana. I'm just wondering why this logic isn't applied to her, too.
Alastair shows up and Oghren, 'member?
Morrigan was written to show back up, hence the baby-making sequence with Alastair or the Warden.
I liked Leliana in DA:O. In this one I want to pimp slap her.

Ya know, I do think about that. Like the Warden showing up and reminding her about her better angels, as Lincoln put it.

I don't buy it. I've played the same story, and the writer's pet problems that were there with Liara (and a few others) weren't there with Leliana.
Your call but pretty much leliana is far more abused than liara as for argument above it is fiction anything can be explained liara was "explained" as well so liara was less writer pet than leliana is.

Sorry, but there was no reason to bring Liara onto the ship in the first game, particularly if Benezia was already dead. There was also no reason to write her as Shepard's bestie, but it was done anyway.
Being abused doesn't make you a Writer's Pet.

From what i recall she was expert on prothean thing as well she helps shepard read vision. There was no reason to make the warden leliana bestie but yet they done that anyway (unless you killed or didn't recruit her).
Not mention Liara wasn't resurrected or didn't pull such crap like threatening shepard and we were forced to completly ignore that or at least if i recall correctly.
Yes it does as it did with liara...

But Leliana ISN'T the Warden's bestie, unless the player chooses...? You can not recruit her, tell her to leave, be a complete dick to her until she leaves, or seemingly kill her? Bar not recruiting in the first place I think, you can actually do all of these things to Morrigan. You can even refuse the DR completely as well. Seemingly they had a larger role in mind for Morrigan like they did with Leliana. So why isn't Morrigan lambasted for being a writer's pet?
As I said, the one genuine grievance that I understand is the fact you could certainly seem to kill Leliana. It wasn't as ambiguous as Morrigan's death, and it should have been. Their explanation requires a lot of faith in the supernatural elements of the lore, which may not be good enough. Aside from that, I don't see the difference.
If you don't set in keep that she wasn't recruited or killed she is always the warden bestie even if you didn't do her personal quest.
Didn't i already have explained that 1000 times?
Morrigan wasn't cleary done her plot and flemeth weren't done in first place it was obvious not to mention whole OGB matter with his purpose it was obvs since dao leliana on other hand had 0 reason to be brought back.As well Morrigan had only as i said 3 apparences in da products dao, witch hunt and dai (4 if you count last court) where leliana way more beyond that not to mention that dai wasn't even near flattering toward morrigan as it was with leliana also leliana epilogue...
I would have fired Morrigan.
It's harder to be a shapeshifter without her and I really liked the option to turn into a swarm of bees.
I miss that spell.
It is in fact if devs confirming it isn't compelling argument i don't know what is.
Hmm, yes, but what if I told you that Keanu Reeves doesn't actually know kung fu, despite what Neo says in the Matrix?

LoL what does that even have to anything to what i have said or devs said...

No, I'm responding to nonsense with more nonsense.
I thought we were just shouting random things at each other?

No you are responding with nonsense to simple logic.
I used developer pretty much saying what i have said to confirm thing i was saying and you said it wasn't compelling argument so well...
Devs confirming they...like a character they created?! What is this LUNACY!
This is what happens when you don't listen what other person is saying ![]()

I was of the idea that hyperbole and outright fabrications were the opposite of "simple logic", but alright, you got me.
You said you could list 100 reasons why Leliana is a writer's pet. Go ahead and do that. And while you're at it, find this confirmation by the writers for me too. I'll wait. Literally 2 tasks that shouldn't take more than a few minutes of your time, since you seem to have all 100 reasons at the ready, and you've seen this confirmation before.

First, to list 100 reasons would take more than a few minutes of time unless you were the Flash and could speed type like a mofo.
Second, do you believe that teachers, parents, and writers usually admit that they have a pet? Or do they gush and everyone just get the picture?

None of the writers in the long list of well recognized pets said, "Ya know, this character is my pet". Those words are rarely used but they will say things like:
"she is the true magic of the show."
Lana Lang--grrr, I prayed PRAYED that Warner Bros would fight for Batman to stay off that show because if they had made Batman fall in love with her, too, I would have literally blown up like this:

One of writers/devs admited that leliana was his favorite and things that i said wasn't "outright fabrications" don't even go there pal because pretty much things like being abused in that series or extereme flatterry in dai to ridiculous epilogue aren't any fabrications those are things in game.
I already had disscusion above and pointed reasons... ![]()
Have you given us the dev's exact quote anywhere? You may have, it's a long thread and we've been at it for a while. It would be interesting to see what they said, though. Saying "dev said XYZ which proves everything I say" doesn't exactly stand on its own.
Sadly couldn't find site where i found that so i can't give you quote.
Here's one

when people had the option of decapitation they decided not to care and bring her back because they like the character.
You want to tell me leliana is only spymaster that exists? right... i can bet there is plenty people in thedas that could replace her easily and do better her function that she is.
Look I just want the option to take her into a room, beat the crap out of her and keep her on staff or just be polite and fire her. I don't want her dead. I don't want her decapitated. I'm tired of dealing with her crazy psychotic behavior. It makes not one bit of sense that she's a psycho after DAO.
It's harder to be a shapeshifter without her and I really liked the option to turn into a swarm of bees.
I miss that spell.
Shapeshifters don't miss it... they lived in constant fear that someone would trap them in a jar, intending to use them as an hilarious grenade?
