So we start in Sahrabarik System, and in the upper left hand corner (or on the systems themselves in the galaxy map) it shows a percentage.

Does that percentage rate show how complete you are in that system or how much ore you have found in that system?

Sorry if it's a noob question, but I looked in the manual and haven't seen anything on it.

It represents how many planets in the system you've scanned, no matter how much resources you take from the planet.

not even scanned, it's how many planet's orbit you've entered. that is to say, if there are 4 planets in a system, and you "enter orbit" for 2 of them, you'll have discovered 50% of the planets. if you notice, names etc. of planets are not known until you enter their respective orbit.

That's true, I hadn't even thought of that until I remember when I got my achievement.
