Yes absolutely! Especially when you've blind-folded them and are giving it to them wild-style
You need to relax though.

My cat of 17 years died last summer.
We buried her, and I never saw my dad cry like that, in my entire life. Not even when his MOTHER died.
It was weird. We cried together.
/still manly doe
THIS!
Don't cry over small stuff like "that man/woman at work just made fun of my hairdo
" or "why are you being so mean to me today
" or "you don't love me anymore
"
THAT kind, and for the record, I'm NOT referring to E-Ro LOL, he is manly as hell
, just previous ex's and other men/couples I've seen.
Crying because you loose a pet/loved one is natural and of course okay but not over small stuff, not even I do that as a woman.
dude you need to get it out. repression just leads to explosions.
I don't see why not. I've been told men have emotions too, and crying is part of some of those emotions.

Yeah cry in PRIVATE ALL you want about ALL you want, it's the in public that you should be careful about. Image my man, IMAGE!!!!!!!!! ![]()
THINK ABOUT YOUR IMAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. Sometimes you either need a good cry or to beat the living **** out of a punching bag.
Though choose appropriate times. Not when you drop your ice cream. Though crying over spilt milk is okay
Only manly tears.

Yes, but only around brothers in arms, your mother, or by yourself.
Never in front of others, and NEVER. NEVER. In front of wives or girlfriends.
Woman are pre-disposed to key off certain masculine behaviors, when a man cry's in front of a female, she begins subconsciously becoming less attracted to said crying male.

I'm an Edmonton Oiler and New York Jets fan. I cry all the time.

Only manly tears.

This.
Unless your dog (or any pet, I guess) just died. When my yellow lab goes (had her since she was a pup), I'm gonna be a snot-bubble spewing mess for about a week.
I will never again watch the end of "Marley and Me". When I walk in and my wife is watching this cursed movie on TV
(not a TV, but you get the picture)
Can't say whether it's OK or not really, and ultimately it doesn't matter, because if it's bad enough I'll do it anyway.
I cried my sodding head off after my Dad died back in 2009, was at work at the time, in front of all my co-workers when I got that awful call, and matters of Okay or not Okay were farthest from my mind at the time.

Yeah, in all seriousness when something like that hits who gives a flip what anyone else thinks. My parents are both getting up in age, and I know when that time comes I am going to be a wreck.
IMO -- Being able to show people your emotions makes you more of a man than fear of letting them see.
The second sounds more like cowardice, not toughness.
Sadness is a natural thing, after all.
Of course, like if you lost someone close to you or your favorite team got screwed over in the championship or you're watching a sad sad movie.
Other than that...hold it in.

why not? is it "unmanly" to show emotions?
Is it okay for men to cry?

Are you too afraid to cry because of what others might think or are you holding it in because it might hurt the person in front of you?

Why the hell not?
