IMO you guys should just quit while you're ahead.  You gave us great games like dragon age origins, dragon age 2, mass effect 1 & 2, kotor 1, baldurs gate. 

 

But then you give us mass effect 3 & dragon age inquisition....... Two disasters in a row. It may be time to just stop.  Don't drive a company with such a great reputation into the ground.   Retire with dignity, honor and respect. In other words, don't go all george lucas on us.

 

David Gaider knew better than to keep beating the dead horse that is the dragon age series. Dragon age should've stopped at origins, everyone knows this. It took two disasters for mr. gaider to realize that he needs to stop. The original founds of Bioware kept Mr. Gaider in check, that is why origins turned out perfectly.

 

Just stop, your time is over, man up and accept this.

Don't forget that David Gaider abandoned Inquisition. He royally messed up the storyline, made the game as gay as possible and then abandoned it.

I don't really see the comparison. Star Wars is a great franchise with great potential, it just turned out that Lucas wasn't the right man to direct it and control the canon. If he had scrapped it all after the first two movies we would have been robbed of gems like the Old Republic setting and the entire expanded universe, which is where most of the great SW stories take place.

 

In other words the solution shouldn't necessarily be to end a franchise, but rather to make sure you have the brightest and most creative people in control of it - which aren't always the people who originally came up with the idea.

Ok, so DAI didn't turn out what most people expected. The question here is: SO WHAT ? The world doesn't end. Developers make mistakes. Nobody said the game is gonna be perfect.

 

I totally support civilized criticism of this game, but this doom and gloom sometimes goes a bit too far.

My eight runs through DA2 and three runs through DAI (so far - trying to pace myself) say otherwise. Based on current evidence, I'll pre-order DA4 the day that it becomes possible.

According to Wikipedia George Lucas has a net worth of 5 Billion Us dollars (5 000 000 000 American dollars).

 

I personally loved both Inquisition and ME3 so...  Bioware when you decide whether to do ME4 and DA4 and what should they be like, think about George Lucas.
