IMO you guys should just quit while you're ahead. You gave us great games like dragon age origins, dragon age 2, mass effect 1 & 2, kotor 1, baldurs gate.
But then you give us mass effect 3 & dragon age inquisition....... Two disasters in a row. It may be time to just stop. Don't drive a company with such a great reputation into the ground. Retire with dignity, honor and respect. In other words, don't go all george lucas on us.
David Gaider knew better than to keep beating the dead horse that is the dragon age series. Dragon age should've stopped at origins, everyone knows this. It took two disasters for mr. gaider to realize that he needs to stop. The original founds of Bioware kept Mr. Gaider in check, that is why origins turned out perfectly.
Just stop, your time is over, man up and accept this.
I mean come on, look at what bioware did to cassandra pentaghast, she looks like a ****** man.
Hi, Brevnau. I see you still employ really weird and contradictory analyses of things.
Can you answer me one thing? Pretty please? Why do you think the physical attractiveness of one character plays any part at all in the general merit of a video game?

Second, I don't think they should call it quits just yet. Only 2 (3, if you count DA2, I enjoyed it though) failures so far, and you know what they say, 3 strikes you're out? DA2 and DAI could be interchanged, because there are people who hated DAI so much they realized how good DA2 actually was (like me), and then there are people who like da2 but hate dai or vice-versa. And people who just thought both were bad. Essentially, they both received quite poor feedback, even people who like the games openly admit to the games' many faults.

Don't forget that David Gaider abandoned Inquisition. He royally messed up the storyline, made the game as gay as possible and then abandoned it.
George Lucas & David Gaider have a lot in common.
He didn't abandon it. He wrote the story for it etc, and the game got published. That means he finished Inquisition, and then moved on.
And how did he make the game as gay as possible? It has 2-3 gay people in it. I am not sure how many characters there are in the game, 500? 2-3 of them being gay isn't a lot.
George Lucas made Star Wars gay?

George Lucas made Star Wars gay?
In the new movie, the shocking twist will be that Han and Leia broke up and Han married Luke instead.
I agree that DAI is nowhere near as gay as it could be. Hell, across the entire franchise there have been about thirty explicitly LGBT characters in total, out of many hundreds.
The good news is that, given that Patrick Weeks has expressed an interest in adding glitter and musical numbers to DA4, the next game could be far, far more homosexual than the previous three.

what? there are 8 romancable characters of which 2 are gay and 2 are bisexuals, thats 50% lgbt representation. That's quite a lot compared to real life 4%...

I think the "gay stuff" is a good addition. Gay people exist, so it should be the case in Thedas too. It makes the DA world seem more believable. + it also makes non-straight gamers feel included, instead excluded. I am straight so I have never felt excluded from anything based on the sexuality I was born with, so I can't imagine how it must feel for people who has experienced that all their lives. I can't speak for everyone else, of course, but I am more than willing to be "exposed" to fictional gay characters in video games if that means the feature also helps everyone else feel as invited to the party as I am.

Well yes. I am sure the percentage of the romance options are on the high end, but its still better than the 100 percent player sexual thing we had in DA2. The romances are optional, though. So its not like you are getting gay rubbed in your face. Personally I think Dorian was the best character in the game, and him being a gay fellow enhanced it. As long as it doesn't feel forced, I am all for it. But that goes for every feature in the game. Forced is bad.

(sigh)
Please read one of the umpteen threads on the subject, as the percentage vs. 'real life' argument is nonsense when it comes to branching content.
If content is being made available to a range of people it must be equally playable for each play choice.
Else it would be acceptable for left-handed golfers (a lower population percentage)
to have to play the game with only three clubs.
If the choice is available to play, you should get the same number of clubs / options.

Irrelevant. The population of Thedas doesn't exist of the Inquisitor + posse.
By far the most people in Thedas are still straight.

I don't think that is Bioware's decision to make anymore, Bioware has been dead for a while now, what you see now is merely the desiccated corpse with EA pulling the strings as if it were a marionette of rotting meat. So long as the name continues to make money off the fans who still cling to hope and refuse to see what the studio has become EA won't be letting it rest with some dignity anytime soon.

It's kinda sad that Bioware doesn't get the appreciation they deserve. I for one think they get better with every new installment of a series.

Don't worry DA:I will be appreciated when then next DA game comes out because that is how it works.
So far the trend has gone like this
- DA:O stucks because it's not enough like Baldur's Gate
- DA2 stucks because it's not enough like DA:O & Baldur's Gate
- DA:I stucks because it's not enough like DA2 & DA:O
- DANext will suck because it won't be enough like DAI & DA2
The cycle will continue.

Well for me is.
DA:O Very good game have nothing to complain.
DA:2 Good game. I don't like teleporting enemy's, and time skips was meh.
DA:I So bad on so many levels. No tactics, combat just bad, open world, main story short, all world is disconnected and empty filled just with fetch quests......

your example has no logic... I give you other example to think of
lets say you are 4% shareholder of a company, now you start whining that you want same rights as the other owner who happens to have 96%, now tell me what happens?
a)nothing cos you don't know what's a shareholder (don't confuse with cup holder/bearer)
b)you happen to be lover of this second shareholder so s/he do whatever you "persuade" her/him to
c)you get slapped across face and would be told to stfu, then in a month a beneficial party would be made in your name and some useless charity organization of your choosing would get a minor donation
d)the other owner happens to be retarded and s/he accept your premise that you should be equals cos both of you holds a share in the same company

- I happen to really like ME3, a great game, true not as good as ME2 but still great, and the multiplayer had me hooked for 2 years!
- I've never played "Origins" as DAI is my first DA game. I'm really glad I've not played DAO as I actually really like DAI - on my second play through now.
- Cassandra looks likes a Warrior! I don't want her to look like a barbie doll.
