Interesting way to get players to try out new classes and weapon types! I currently have 6 done, gonna take a break before I finish off the other three.
PC is at 1,828,021/2,500,000 as of this post.

Agents, we are aware of an issue with AoE/dual-blade daggers not counting towards the challenge. We recommend using non-AoE/single blade.

True! I had <200 axe and sword kills before this weekend and finally tried Templar for the very first time so this challenge helped me switch things up a bit ![]()
My commendation chests were all duplicates but I've had pretty decent luck with the RNG up to this point so that's to be expected.
And Xbox One is done ![]()
Are dagger kills not tracking for anyone else besides me? I've tried both assassin and alchemist. Over 100 kills each with daggers only, no skills being used. No kills are registering. I've tried rebooting the game, but the problem still exists.

Do you have Dual Blades equipped?
I've successfully completed the Dagger challenge.
Anyone have an issue with this?

Ok, thanks for this - I was using dual-blades. I'll switch out.

AOE daggers don't count. Thanks biower.

Hardly a problem, just equip non-AoE daggers...
huh, I thought the dual-daggers were fixed in patch.

Hardly a problem? Take the biower tinted shades off for a moment. This has been an issue since launch and still hasn't been sorted. Not everyone can simply "just equip non- AOE daggers".

Sure they can, you have a nice pair of non-AOE daggers in your inventory right now.

Ha. I have no BioWare tinted shades, I'm upbeat about all games I play ![]()
The game has been out 4 months.
The logical thing to do is to keep a 'best' of:
Who knows what challenge will come, and preparing for these options is just practical planning.
Besides, there are 54 non-AoE Daggers, including the legendary Highland Dirk.
Leaving Daggers to last would almost inevitably delivery non-AoE Daggers in the victory chests ![]()
EDIT: And there are always the base Inquisition Daggers ![]()
Are you being serious? Can you honestly not see how this is a problem?
It is a problem, no one’s debating that, but it’s not like there’s no workaround for it like some other more serious bugs.

Aha, the Inquisition daggers - of course I forgot about those ![]()

Good joke. I'm talking about the inquisition daggers.

- 1H Sword
- 1H Axe
- 1H Mace
- 2H Greatsword
- 2H Greataxe
- 2H Maul
- Bow
- Staff (Cold)
- Staff (Fire)
- Staff (Electricity)
- Dagger set (non-AoE)

It's logical to keep a pair of daggers yes, but how exactly is a newish player or someone who doesn't frequent these forums supposed to know AOE ones don't count?
Good luck killing anything with those low level daggers.
So community ended event for 2,5 million kills, but still have no chest. WTF?
I also completed all other weapon events and got the rewards, but not for community.

We get the community chest when the event is finished, normally sometime Monday morning/early afternoon.

Ok, ty for info.
2.04M on PC atm.
Just missing Mace challenge personally, takes forever with only the Soulkisser when you are used to using a Firm Tournament Axe.
Maul got me a Griffon bow
Staff got me a Griffon bow
Bow got me a Super belt of spirit resistance
