The closest I've ever gone to playing the SP again was having the mouse cursor hover over the SP option before going to MP.
Do you find it disorienting....

After extensively playing MP the SP part feels like wave 1 Bronze with a maxed out char and level III/IV consumables, yes.
SP Insanity sure could have some more enemies and stuff, but what I'd rather like to see is a difficulty above Insanity.
Please Biower, give us an unlockable custom character (with all powers to select from) so we can create the most OP SoB mankind has ever seen and let us fight almost endless hords of enemies in a Insanity+ mode.
Can be unbalanced as hell, cause it's more of a playground for veteran players experimenting with kits, powers and weird playstyles.
Pretty please?

Vanguard Shep is so obscenely powerful in SP it's not even funny. Pull, Charge, Nova, repeat. Or if an armored target, Incendiary grenade, charge, repeat
Once you get the red power armor from the citadel, you effectively have instant CD on everything

...when you go from playing a lot of multiplayer to hitting the campaign again?
When I went back to the campaign, on hardcore mode, I experienced 3 things on my 1 player vanguard....
1: Time dilation effects... Throws me off when I am used to warping with an instant action, thus leaving me off balence.
2: I feel waaaay over-powered... Did I just warp/nova/disciple 3 banshees to death without getting sync-ed? OMFG!
3: More powers... Forgetting to nova half the time because, A: I am used to just using keys 1, 2, and 3, and B: I got sooo used to NOT using nova.
1: I rather like the time dilation, but that may have been because my first playthrough was SP with an infiltrator. Infiltrator was my thing through all the ME games, roommates were sentinel and adept. I knew they wouldn't be able to do it in MP and was a bit butthurt about it. (I got over it.)
2: I typically have played Hardcore/Veteran through the SP games, when I went back to SP after a long stint of MP I had to boost it up to insanity and it still felt a bit ridiculous.
3: I love having more powers, but I do find I use less of them. Instead what I do is plan out the kit around a few powers to make a viable combo. Whether that's tech/biotic or just a potent weapon/grenade combo. I like being able to respec and tweak along the way. And I enjoy mixing in the bonus power.
I just get sick of the forever taking dialogue in some cases. I felt they could have added a bit more depth to the MP side of things though.

The SP as an Adept or, god forbid, an infiltrator, is almost an entirely different game to the MP. One that is much easier, for starters.
Infiltrator with Marksman has to be tried though, at least once. Alongside the Cerberus Nightmare Armor, you are death incarnate.

Moving back and forth between SP and MP is still disorienting, even after doing it regularly for over a year (I'm newer at this than some of you).
"What kind of BS human sentinel doesn't have Overload?"
"No time dilation!? Crap, I can't hit anything!"
"Time dilation!? Crap, I can't hit anything!"
"Wow, ammo-primed combos are awesome!"
"Huh, ammo-primed combos are a bit underwhelming..."
"Why does shooting my Claymore deplete my gels?"
"Hm, I might go down but my squad will revive me...oh."

Nova deals with armor WAAAY too well SP.... and rather than a grenade, i use shield drain to take care of blue shields and heal at range without getting close to ANY major boss... Also I use the outfit you get at armax but same thing..... Disciple throws enemies across the map on SP and barely staggers weak on MP....
Either way, I miss my MP power trios

When i went back to single player to play Citadel I had forgotten that adrenline rush acts like dilated perception in Bloodrayne 2 (time slowing)
