For beginners.

 

I just started from scratch and boy finishing this weekend challenge will be feat of gigantic proportions.

With my main account I soloed Perilous numerous times,but this feels like 10X harder.

Basic Templar foot soldier is a hard task to kill with the Inquisition bow and Shadow is  nigh impossible.

Druffalo? Keep on dreaming

I'd like to see the people QQing about how easy it is nerf themselves by playing without end-game gear, and a limited number of promotions.

If only I'd get a HoK. Pretty sure it alone will kick me from soloing Routine with eyes closed to soloing Threatening if not more. If not soloing Perilous (I have no illusions of grandeur) then at least make competitive in it.

 

But hey, I gots Lady Jocasta's Revenge with 1% heal on Hit.

I have the Bow of Cruel Redemption, which has HoH. Turns bosses into those medi-terminals from Half-Life.

 

So I'm torn between whining about no LBOTG since 4 months, or actually getting it and missing the perk.

I'm painfully aware of that. Sadly Jocasta is the better one of my two daggers. Good thing that with such crappy daggers Alchemist isn't my favourite class (only second favourite after the Assassin )

I started up DAMP today. Took a look at this weekend's challenge and then Alt-F4.

With my 10/10/10 Lego and Firm morning star(86 DPS) I have average 11 kills/game on Routine.So it will take me 9 games to complete challenge

I like Jocasta on the alchemist even though I have better daggers. The heal on hit procs from mines. Spamming mines is like drinking a health potion. Plus you can auto rez yourself if an enemy steps on your mine after you go down. It's nice.

In all seriousness I do hope that Bioware scraps the notion of character stats being effected by promotions and revert everyone's stats back to what it was at the games start, so that all these crybabies who claim that the game is too easy now can see that promotions and loot is the biggest factor in progress

Yes the game is hard for new players.

Which is why when I promote I play a game or two on routine before I jump to threatening.

If I'm asked "zomg that axe!?! Or how do u regen ur health all the time", I'm more than happy to respond and I also give a few tips on general gameplay.

I want new players to feel encouraged....not helpless.... That's my opinion anyhow =p

*sigh* Yes when someone starts by saying 'In all seriousness' it usually means their being serious - i'm not surprised you would oppose the idea, but if you were as good as you claim to be then you would welcome the change

I know what you mean, I played on 360 and had a fair few promotions (only about 40 so still a baby compared to most of the pros, but still..) Now bought an Xbox One and started from nothing, I struggled without my gear, the chests have also not been kind to me..  finished weekend event but it was a job and a half..
