This is true. However, there's also a large portion of women who play MMOs. Historically speaking, women prefer genres like RPGs and Adventure games over Strategies and Shooters. They also tend to dislike competitive experiences, opting for games that emphasise customisation and social skills. Which is why this place has a larger ratio of women than most gaming forums (especially in the DA:I section). It might also go some way to explaining why you hear a lot of horror stories about women in MMO guilds that are focused on raiding. Of course, I'm not saying that every woman is like this, but that's just the way it is been generally speaking.
