Here is what I would instruct all the bioware employees to do if I worked for Bioware:

 

Straight Males

"Okay guys, sex sells. Let's give the straight male gamers the hottest most controversial female companion. We also want to make sure straight male gamers have plenty of opportunities to see lots of girl on girl action. Make sure you add at least three different brothels, but give the player the chance to shut down the brothels if they don't like that kind of thing. Roleplaying you know."

 

 

Gay Males

"Now let's talk about the gay guys, let's give them the hottest male companions. Let's give them a slender guy who is real cute, don't gay guys like that? Then we'll give them a real muscular guy who is tall with a huge bulge in his pants. Give the gay guys lots of eye candy.  We need to capitilize on the gay market."

 

 

Gay Women

"Technically they like the same stuff as the straight males, just change the voice acting to address the player as she instead of he.  Also, I think those lesbian chicks really like bald women, so add some option to make the female companions bald or something. A persuasion option would be good. Something like, hey i think you'd look great if you shaved your head, then the npc companion shaves her head.  Also, let's give the lesbians a bathtub scene where they are both in the bathtub talking about how they feel, with like wine n stuff."

"Okay what do straight women like? Women like it ALL, so give them an alistair, an isabella, a dorian and a big qunari. But most imporatnt, make sure the women can see plenty of guy on guy content. Women love that.  Women also need to feel and stuff, so make sure the male npcs say things like, "i know how you feel", etc, they also love when guys compete over them."

 

 

Art

"Okay, now when it comes to concept art, just make all the companions ridiculously handsome, sexy and beautiful, we can then make them ugly if need be, but only after they've been made gorgeous first."

 

Hair

"WHAT THE **** IS THIS?  THAT HAIR LOOKS LIKE ****! YOU'RE ****** FIRED!!! let me hire one of the hobbiest's from skyrim, those guys know how to make hair and they'll do it FOR FREE".

 

Game Mechanics

"There is no container for the player to store their stuff? YOU'RE FIRED!!"

"Why are you adding world of warcarft quests? This isn't an mmo you ****** idiot, YOU'RE FIRED!!!"

It's not childish nor ridiculous. Have you seen skyrim hair? It's ten times better than anything Bioware has ever produced.  Open up 3d studio max and make the comparisons yourself.

 

Dragon Age Origins has hair mods that look amazing. 

 

The real talent is in the community, not in the industry. 

 

3D modelers get paid horribly, because their jobs are ridiculously easy to do,their jobs are so easy to do that people do their jobs in their spare time as a hobby.

I've been a huge bioware fan for the longest time, and they give me two of the ugliest, mannish looking female romance options in the game. Honestly, who cares about romance options anyways right?
