I agree, if Cassandra was a lesbian, I'd be playing DAI right now. Because then her looking like a butch man would make total sense.  I'm be honest here too, no troll.  She is more fitting as a lesbian the way she looks in DAI, with the masculine bone structure.

In this scenario does she also have the magical ability to grow her hair really quickly? Considering it was only a few months between the end DA2 & DA:I and she had short hair in DA2.

DAI Cassandra Pentaghast was intended to be butch lesbian, that's the only explanation for her mannish appearance.

 

No, all it proved is that you should not judge a character's sexual preference based solely upon that character's appearance in DAI.  Cassandra could have simply adapted an appearance in DAI more suiting to her role as a Seeker (aka warrior).  Changing her hairstyle from long to short does not automatically translate to Cassandra switching from straight to lesbian.  Sera, for example, isn't a lesbian because she has short hair.  Sera is a lesbian because she exclusively prefers women in the same way Cassandra is straight because she exclusively prefers men.   Sera could grow her hair long, and she would not magically become straight since doing so would not change Sera's sexual preference...Except apparently in your version of reality...
