I'll probably sound dumb after asking this, but how the hell do you recognize main quests from side quests? I started playing today and got to the camp and talked to mother Giselle but I was on my phone and wasn't really paying much attention what I had to do. When I look at my quests I just see a lot of them but I have no idea which is the main quest. For the past 2 horus I've just been doing random quests but now I want to go back to the main story.
Main quest?

The main quests are under the Inquisitor's Path tab in your quest journal. Companion quests are under the Inner Circle tab. Side quests are under the area tabs and the areas "main quest" is always at the top.
You only need to complete the quests in the Inquisitor's tab, but doing the others can be fun too, just don't over do it.
Another useful tip. You can fast travel to spots on the map marked with a tent or the fancy star. And you can do so where ever you are on the map.
And remember to stay hydrated!

True. However doing sidequests isn't nessesarly bad because some 'Main Story' missions require 'POWER' so doing as said above will help in the long run until you have enough POWER and or if your ready for it. Just hit the WAR TABLE and click on icon covered in a green fog on the WAR TABLE or if your in a story zone click on journal and as said above and do what is needed in that zone.
