I bought NWN2 off of GOG a few days ago, and I was wondering if anyone might know of a fix for the bug where a character's Spell Resistance will be set to 0 (ignoring their gear-based SR) after it gets checked once by an incoming spell. I've searched around through some player-made modes on the Nexus and NW Vault but haven't been able to find anything other than fixes to the SR checks on individual spells, which doesn't seem like that's what would do it.

Alternately, if there's some workaround that let's you manually set your character's SR, I'd be happy to use that as well. I tried the DM_Setspellresistance command, but SR given by this command seems to have the same issue as gear-based SR and disappears after it's been checked.

Thanks in advance!

If anyone knows of an fix for this, that would be great, but in the meantime, I came up with a work around by using the console to add the Monk's Improved Spell Resistance Feats (feats 699-708) to characters with SR gear thereby giving the characters just as many feats as it takes to match the SR of their gear. Not ideal, but at least they now have appropriate SR that isn't stripped away during every fight. Posting here in case this helps anyone else.

Well, Kaedrin's pack fixes that (I think) by giving a spell effect with the value of the item.

"Spell Resist on equipped items will be added as a spell effect to players (fixes the item breaking after 1 spell resist)"

You also get a bunch of classes, races, feats and spells that you might or not want.
