I meant to ask this before, I have picked missions that will say 15:00 for Cullen or 12:00 for Leliana and then returned to see them at 5: 26: 30 and was like wtf?

My mission goes from 15 minutes to DAYS.

Is that how it's supposed to work?  Like they get in a mission and it turns out to be longer or what?  I'm now stuck waiting on them to get back to do anything.

Did you fiddle with the system clock? The amount of time it takes all turns on the system clock date you start vs. it thinks it is now. It calculates it by adding the set time (12:00) to the system clock date.

No.  I wouldn't even know how to fiddle with it.  :(

Okay. Let's try and get some concrete data.

1) When did this problem start?

2) What happened with your XB1 inbetween (a) your last session of DA:I that didn't have a bug and (b.) the session that you got a bug?

  • Was there a system update?
  • Did you play another game?
  • Did you install something to the HD?
  • Did you surf the internet?

And so on.

Thanks, BTW

I'm happy to try and help. Keep in mind I don't game on the XB1.

You might have to manually adjust the clock. You need to disconnect the Xbox from the internet, go into preferences/options/whatever the clock is under set the date forward enough to cover the time the mission needs, start up the game and check the war table.

But don't start any new war table mission until you've shut down the game and connected it back up to the internet. The right date/time should be set automatically.

Microsoft consoles reset the clock to a default date and time every time they are switched on.

they need to be set to the current day and time either through connecting to the internet or the user manually adjusting the settings

I believe Microsoft expects people to leave consoles permanently switched on and not worry about cost of power usage or the fire risks involved
