I liked crossbows in DAO. Sure, they weren't all that useful, but they looked cool & they offered a nice role playing alternative to long bows.

Please bring them back bioware, & not just for Varric. Thank you.

I didn't like using crossbows in DAO, but it does seem a bit odd to me that they didn't show up again in DAI. I support this.

This would work only if they also brought back dual wielding swords to keep those fans from complaining, but it'd be awesome

Since I don't see Varric in the next game, I would love a return of crossbows.  I think they took out crossbows to make Bianca stand out more.  Now, I'd love to have the chance to play a crossbow wielding dwarf in the next game.

Bianca killed them all in Kirkwall, Fereldan and Orlais. Since we'll probably be in Tevinter for the next game, that blood thirsty crossbow won't be bothering us.

That's what I've been thinking. Bianca rendered all other crossbows obsolete, so it made sense others weren't around.

But if she isn't there to steal the scene...Oh, I really hope.
