1)I don't understand why Hawke released Corypheus to begin with (instead to reinforce the seals), because of hawke we have this Recycled Villain, well done Champion!

 

2)I don't understand why Solas gave the Orb to someone with that criminal face......

 

3) I don't understand why Dumat do not appear as the final boss when Corypheus call him maybe after thousand of years Corypheus lost his phone number or DUmat has changed his number, what is the prefix for the Heaven?

So is this still a gripe thread or has everyone against criticism of any kind derailed this thread already?

Cause my main gripe is, why can't I get the motivation to finish the game a second time? I try to start a new game, I get to where I can save it and then I sort of don't want to play any more.

Because you don't like the game as much as you want to like it.

I could play Paper Mario: TTYD for days without getting bored. I love that game. It's pretty damn near perfect in my eyes. It's not about new choices, it's about enjoying something so much you can enjoy it over and over.

And you don't get that from Inquisition.

I don't understand why I can't understand what the thread owner doesn't understand. I don't understand people's lists of what they don't understand either, but the I don't understand in the title may have made people don't understand what the thread was about.

Hell, I'll participate

 

-I don't understand why my Male Lavellans look disproportional, absurdly skinny, and have their arms sink into their rib cages.

 

-I don't understand why Male Qunari Inquisitors resonate a square-box appearance. Every armor you put on them is shaped to make them look like squares on account of their broad shoulders.

 

-I don't understand why more conventional hairstyles, such as the one Alistair and Cullen have, are not available to the Inquisitor.

 

-I don't understand why the Qunari don't have separate sliders for Horns and Hair in the Character Creator.

 

-I don't understand why it's hard to make an attractive non-human Male Inquisitor. This is a problem that transfers over from Mass Effect.

 

-I don't understand why the Dalish armors (light (keeper), scout (medium), heavy) look fantastic on Female Lavellans yet hideous on Male Lavellans.

 

-I don't understand why my posts are beginning to imply that I have a gripe against Female character models/armor appearances. They're just done so much better than Males.

 

-I don't understand why Hawke was implemented during the Warden storyline and not the Mage/Templar storyline where he/she is actually relevant.

 

-I don't understand why an RNG loot system was implemented in a game where such attention to detail in the crafting is emphasized. It encourages farming and grinding, which is unworthy of the Inquisitor. Hopefully the Black Emporium DLC rectifies this.

 

-I don't understand why non-Mage Inquisitors cannot invoke the Rite of Tranquility during certain judgments. 

 

-I don't understand why companions cannot be interacted with post-credits, aside from a repeated one-liner they give.

 

-I don't understand why The Short List perk only works by chance and not permanently. I didn't invest a valuable Inquisition perk just to be loading and reloading areas so I can finally attain a certain good from a store. If they are to ever carry such an item, The Short List should make it always available.

 

-I don't understand why The Tower and Courtyard upgrades to Skyhold were merely aesthetic while the Garden upgrade actually has in-game function. It's inconsistent and shows missed opportunity. 

 

-I don't understand why schematics for Superb Spirit and Superb Cleansing runes even exist, since we don't fight enough of the needed enemies (Revanents and level 20+ Fade Rifts) that produce the necessary materials to make such runes, unless you farm.

 

I'm sure there are other things I've missed but for the moment, this is all that comes to mind.

True . I still would like to play more Dragon Age but grinding in FFXIV offers for rewards(even though it's mostly cosmetic stuff I've been grinding) and then I have Type-0 which has a fantastic story and characters ^^. I wish Bioware would play more Square Enix RPGs because SE focuses a LOT on the story and characters when creating their RPGs. SE create games in the same way that Bioware is interested in creating their games it's upsetting that it looks like Bioware ignores Square.
