I'm not sure if spoilers are allowed here, but for this matter this forum section seemed a better fit. Anyway: Spoilers ahead

I decided to go with Vivienne as Divine on my second run, so I talked to her, ran her mission on the war table, no issues.

Then I decided to check with all the other characters, near endgame, how they are going, how's life and stuff.

When I reached Leiliana she started talking to me as if no choice for Divine were made and out of curiosity, I chose in the conversation that she could be a Divine, but no mission for her was shown on the war table. My guess it was a bug and did not interfered with the story, but it did.

After killing Corypheus, I saw the postgame events narrated by Morrigan, mentioning Leiliana as a leader and not Vivienne (also she seemed the softned Leiliana, not the steeled one).

I tried reloading many savegames before to fix that choice, but in none of them Leiliana raised the same topic again, ever.

Also, my DA:K did not show Vivienne for me as a choice, is still hidden, so, how I could fix it? The choices I came up were:

  1. Should I wait for everything to be unhidden? or
  2. In another run, save before choosing Vivienne again, choose her and save, check DA:K for that, if its ok I reload the game and choose who I want for that run, or
  3. Ask Bioware to fix it? or
  4. Anything else?

Any ideas?

It's not actually a bug. There is a fairly complicated (and not entirely transparent ) method of gaining points for the Divine.

Check out:

It's mostly based on the conversations and choices you have, much less on what you say.

I wish we had the choice to not pick a divine at all and let the chantry die as ALL of my characters wanted.

Leliana DOES speak to you before a choice has been made... by the clerics. So it doesn't contradict the storyline. Even if you already supported Vivienne, Leliana can still talk about the possibility that she will be elected.

Also, Vivienne is the hardest candidate to get elected. Leliana is the easiest. If you supported mages as allies, you're basically screwed if you want Vivienne as Divine.
