Over the past few weeks, I have noticed that I am no longer able to embed Youtube videos on the forums here.
Was that ability disabled for a particular reason? Is it just me?
I could not find any posts on this, so any information would be nice.

Were you using /media? Because that hasn't been working for me as well.
However, if you turn the light switch in the top left corner of the tool bar 'off' you can still post Youtube videos.
Find the video you want embedded, copy the URL in the browser line. Paste that into the post box and click 'post'. That ought to work.

Works for me too. Hit the lightswitch and type (without the asterisks): [*media*]copy in the URL you want[*/media*]

You don't need to type media. Just copy and paste the video url

Oh yea, sometimes it's the simple reason
Or just confusing. I've been posting on here a while and embedding YouTube videos using their abbreviated links, then suddenly they stop working. No idea why...

I think abbreviated links have always not worked for me.

I've never abbreviated a thing. I've always placed them by going to the youtube video's url, copying, and pasting it here.
