Most games these days jump straight onto the small release DLC which makes them money, but with a huge world like the one Dragon Age Inquisition is sporting, I'd like to see them pair their smaller DLC releases with a much larger content Expansion.

If we look at DA:O and DA2, both had their small DLC releases, but DA:O also got Awakening. I'd personally like to see the world of Dragon Age Inquisition undergo a large expansion, adding in a few new regions, new skills or even entire new skill trees for the inquisitor and friends to expand into. I miss the days where we didn't spend money on small additions, but instead got to continue our journey through entirely new expanded areas.

As far as story and campaign goes, I'm sure you guys have more than enough ideas, but personally, I'd like to see us delve into the Deep Roads again, more like Origins, or even that brief mission in DA2. Or possibly explore more of the free marches, or add to the war map all together a map of tevinter, or nevara, the anders, antiva, basically, instead of some small content additions like a single new character, or a single new mission, expand the game with hours more content in a wholly new area.

But that's just me. what do you want to see? More small DLC releases, or one or two big expansions like we used to get? Or just mash the two of them together and get both :P

I believe Bioware said they are not doing full expansion packs for Dragon Age: Inquisition. So it will be a few to several DLCs most likely.

I think that's their plan as well, which I find pretty sad. I'm just saying I'd much prefer expansions over lots of smaller DLC, wouldn't you?

I really want an expansion that deals with the epilogue and provides some closure for inquisitors and especially for Solasmance Lavellan.  However,  I'm pretty sure Mark Darrah said in an interview that they wouldn't be doing an awakening like expansion again (although this was some time ago so maybe this has changed) therefore DLCs seem most likely.

I was not a big fan of the deep roads but  I would be interested if it was related to an investigation of the blight/red lyrium.

Well if they hadn't gone the Skyrim direction with their game, then I'd have preferred expansions. As is, however, I shudder at the thought of an expansion pack. It would likely just mean more stupid maps. This game needs more story-driven missions -- badly. If smaller DLC gives me that, it would be very welcome, doubly so if these missions give us lots of Power for completing them so I will have even less need for the exploration nonsense.

I kind of like the idea of exploring the Dwarven empire now that they're not just one city. Re-making Orzammar in the new engine could look amazing; a new and improved Kal'Hirol could also be cool considering it's now been retaken; and both the Orzammar dwarves and Inquisition have a link to the mysterious Kal-Sharok dwarves. There is so much story, and potential hidden away in the deep roads, in regards to Lyrium, the Blight, and the Dwarves.

Fair enough. I just look at current games, not just Dragon Age, but all games, and tend to find that most DLC is less story driven, and more single items, or a quick mission, rather than an additional story told in the same world. There are pros and cons of both DLC and Expansions, of course, but I'd rather see a big story expansion that random side missions or items added in in a small DLC.

If they had larger DLC like DA2's Legacy, or Mark of the Assassin, then great. If you're also comparing it to Skyrim, a larger, expansion-like DLC, such as Dawnstar or Dragonborn would be better, in my opinion, than Hearthfire, which added some items, and houses.

Expansions would be better, help fill in all those pointless areas. DLC's, yeah, a couple hours of fun, sure, why not? Doesn't change the fact those areas are pointless and will remain pointless.
