Lol on the stream this week they denied any problems with match making and then also said if you want to play with people in other regions you just create a private match and invite them...

I want to be match made with people from other regions if no one is available in my close proximity... Like normal match making systems.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Invite them? How the **** do I know who they are?

That video shows Matchmaking on PS4 (largest DAMP community), playing Threatening and presumably Senor Pez lives in the developed world. So it could have been worse.

Nothing wrong with a lobby on the most populated console (for DAIMP) in the most popular difficulty in the developed world remaining empty for the full 15 min #PS4Share limit.

I sometimes drop into a quick lobby with just me and then no-one joins as above. But when I back out and try again I've always found other players. On a previous stream the devs mentioned that they had heard about this issue but that they had not experienced it themselves (hard to replicate the problem).

I would not wait 15 minutes for a lobby to fill, I'd wait a minute or two maybe before trying again.

Try again and hit start. I've found that you can wait for a while to fill slots..but if you start a game, you have a full crew almost as soon as you hit the front door. I've gone to solo a couple of times and forgot to set it to private and it's amazing how quickly people appear

I know right.

They have coded some awful matchmaking to the point where they expect you to go through random profiles trophy lists to see if the have DA:I and invite these randoms (if they still play) to multiplayer.

So what you're saying is the matchmaking isn't matchmaking so the solution is to constantly exit out of the lobby, do a search over and over again until you are lucky because it's not the devs problem to provide a matchmaking service for their multiplayer game.

Other better less tacked on MP games usually search for closest game then search for optimal game and then last result it searches ANY game. This is how all MP should be.

Exactly.

Any time you sit in a lobby by yourself for a long time is evidence that no actual MATCHMAKING is going on.

Nope, not constantly, I have it occasionally, and I normally successfully search over once.
