You made over 60 masterwork materials, but only a handful used by players due to MW slot limitation.

Although I love the crafting system and options are always welcome, a handful of these are so good that the other ones are completely overshadowed.

It is a very counterproductive crafting system when the masterwork slots are so limited. We are talking 2, maximum 3 per character. Yes masterwork slots are powerful - and if you add MORE crafting slots it would be even more powerful. With some crafting combos the game becomes trivial even on nightmare.

However - the issue is that there are tons of fun/good/interesting mats that unfortunately often goes unused due to some masterwork materials being too good.

I propose the following change:

1: Add utility masterwork material slot to helmets. Meaning helmets gains a masterwork slot, but this slot can not have masterwork material that provides direct damage. Also let this slot only provide a 50% bonus.

Example:

Fade touched Lazurite grants +15 stamina. A helmet slot with this will grant +7.5 stamina.
Fade touched snouffleur grants +1% life leech. A helmet slot with this will grant +0.5% life leech.
Fade touched Imperial vestment grants 15% chance to revive on death. A helmet slot with this will grant 7.5% chance.

2: Let us split the weapon and armor mastercraft into two slots if we choose. But this will reduce the effectiveness on those mastercrafts by 50%.

So +5 guard, becomes +2.5 guard.
+ 5 hidden blades for 500% wpn damage becomes +5 hidden blades for 250% damage.

Note that these suggestions are not to be taken into consideration exactly as I proposed. Rather the idea is for more customization for masterwork slots if we choose, how exactly this would be balanced is something to be decided by the devs of course. The main idea here is that imo we should have the option to customize more regarding fade touched materials. Currently there is only a handful (5-7) of masterwork materials that are actually used while most is left to rot - and the main problem is the strength of some of these coupled with the lack of masterwork slots.

Crafting seems a bit odd. I used all kinds of top tier material to create a heavy armour. All I got was a blue jacket of sorts.
