I like qunari because of theyre duality. On one hand, theyre basically brainwashed tools who is the biggest threat to thedas (while at the same time treating theyre mages in the worst way imagineable). On the other hand they treat theyre citizens better in alot of ways than the other kingdoms of thedas. Noone starves and they prefer to "convert" criminals/enemies instead of executing them.
I really liked the arishok in da2 because of this. I liked how he basically represented a COMPLETLY alien culture that was never gonna get along with the rest of the world. But at the same time you could understand his anger/frustration about the whole search for the tome of koslan, and that he had his own twisted sense of honor/ethics (unlike most people in kirkwall).

I think Dwarves add an element of adorableness.

I like all pretty much equally. Dwarves not so much in DAO, but they are adorable in DAI.

In terms of overall lore, story and background, I have to go with the Dwarves, especially in Origins. They seem to take a page from Forgotten Realms' Gold Dwarves in terms of the hierarchy and caste system and make it more intricate and alive. The Dwarf Noble/Commoner are easily the most compelling origin stories (in my opinion). After Dwarves I'd say Elves (if only because I like playing elven protagonists), then Qunari (after Inquisition I definitely want to know more), then finally Humans (if only because every DA game is human-centric and most of the cultural focus is Medieval Europe/England. Inquisition at least made it interesting with Orlais).

Elves > Dwarves > Qunari > Humans
That said I feel like each race has its own flavor and interesting history and lore, even the humans. Which is more than I can say for humans in most videogames, which I typically find exceptionally boring and dull and nothing I haven't seen before. At least, to me, they are interesting in DA.
Still, Elves > everyone else. Always.

Humans > dwarves (DA dwarves are unique in a way, liked them since DAO) > qunari >>>> elves. (i dunno, I just don't like elves in any setting. I like the way they're represented, though. But as a playable race this is my last choice).

Dwarves > qunari > elves > humans.
I recently finished playing a human Inquisitor for the first time and found it so boring compared to dwarf and qunari that I'm reconsidering my plan to play each race twice.

Dwarves > elves (especially city elves) > humans > qunari. Qunari are quite interesting, yes, but I really dislike their ideology.

Lorewise, I don't really have one. They could all be potentially interesting.

Favourite race for me to play is
Human > Elf > Dwarf > Qunari
I enjoy playing human most because I get the feeling the story is always created with a human protagonist in mind.
Favourite race based on my interest in it would be
Elf > Dwarf > Human > Qunari

At the moment, I don't know enough about Vashoth/Tal Vashoth cultures to be into qunari. I don't like the Qun, though I'd be interested to see more of it and how people's everyday lives are. Bull says it would be no different, yet according to one of Solas' Fade 'dreams', a Qunari baker had a little act of rebellion by baking a tiny bit of sugar into the centre of her bread. Which I'm pretty sure isn't illegal elsewhere. More a matter of cost, I'd think. I want to know what kind of unique culture Vashoth have developed too, what their customs and beliefs are.
