And that is why people won't take it serious. LGBT people wants to be treated like everyone else, and they should. they are people the same as he rest of us. That means they also should accept being joked about - the same as everyone else. The Political Correctness crusade is a double edged sword, really. If it gets stuffed into everything even remotely "offensive", like it is today, it will lose its edge quickly, because people will be too fed up to even care.

I was half joking, half being serious. I wouldn't harass them to be honest but I would kindly remind them that transphobic jokes aren't cool. That's all. I'm part of the LGBT myself so I take any joke aimed to belittle and ridicule my kind seriously. I can see and read from Obsidian's tweets that it's something they overlooked, so I'm not angry at them that much... More upset by the fact they didn't think about re-reading themselves before they released the final product.

Patch works fine for me, though I could use higher MSAA values; it'll do for an isometric game.
Edit: I went for the Royal edition and am glad; so much fun reading to do!

The single joke was a guy jumped off a cliff because he slept with a man who claimed to be a woman.
Not everyone likes, nor has to like, nor has to tolerate, transsexuals or any other minority group or any group in general. Everyone has a right to mock, insult, joke about, or otherwise criticize anyone they choose to.

As for the joke thing, well, it was making fun of that guy more than the person he slept with, and kind of points out how stupid stuff like 'gay panic' is.

So i think Obsidian was in the right publishing it, to bad people i don't like ruined it for them.
I was planning on rerolling soon cause it turns out Nature Godlike is a fairly meh choice as far as passives go. Going to try and decide between Fire and Moon I suppose. Still sticking with druid though cause I love the class. Having the patch drop works out perfectly, so here's hoping I won't have any issues with it.

Just take it on trust. I have read almost nothing literally about it. I am sure it's going to be a good game. I don't think there'd enying massive interest. Must be a cause. I feel like people are blowing the joke way out of proportion here. It's a few lines of writing in an Obsidian game, and if you learn to laugh at stupid little jokes like that I suspect you'd be upset quite a bit less in life.
We all get jokes aimed at us for whatever reason no matter who we are. Most of them aren't worth being offended over.

As a black dude, I have the right to be pissed off at something I find offensive. However, I would be overstepping my boundaries if I told the guys creating that product to remove that content from it. If it offends me then I will not play it. People might like that type of stuff but it's on them and not me
