Ah, that's the Patch 6 that was in beta earlier. I recognize those fixes from what a friend leaked to me.

 

 

Wave 5 not only must everyone gather at the flag, the door to "the room" is now closed and locked.

 

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

 

It's like the death of FBW/G/G all over again.  :lol:

this is the only thing that matters.  

 

I welcome the change to camping as I have more fun running around in Wave 5 vs. sitting in the room of shame.  Players will adapt.  Staying mobile outside is just as easy as hiding in the room.

Well, FBW/G generated reasonable concerns. It led to people bumping into same enemy/map set up all the time when looking for random game and camping meant 25+ minutes of camping. However, in DA, people only changed their tactics for final wave, it didn´t affect diversity in maps or enemies at all and sounded as actually reasonable answer to how wave 5 works. 

So I am not really sure, why were their jimmies rustled that much...

 

plus cover system in this DAMP sucks!

Fully agree. White camping affected finding a "real" game. That isn't a problem here.

I suspect the issue is that the longer people play, the more promotions, the more quality weapons and armor the more successful completions. Essentially the game gets easier the longer the core players play so this is an artificial way to increase difficulty.

I didn't think it would really affect much, but it really has.

 

The last 5/6 Threatening games wiped and the only victory was down to a half-solo with Templar nuke vs. demons.

Those patchnotes read weird.

 

What is this "Katari generates guard on hit", like, just like that? As far as I know, there's no character that just "does" things without being linked to some passive skill.

 

edit: Okay, just read the other threads; apparently that's exactly what they did. How can you break something so bad you need to "cheat" as a dev? I'm really quite surprised.

I was already prone to get out of the room of shame in the last wave, but making the flag mandatory instead of a simple teleport???
