Im unable to place the monument, iv picked up all the tags. Iv reloaded the save twice still no dice, I also picked up the n7 helmet. Im spamming on "F" like mad. Im losing my sanity

you can only place it in certain areas and i believe you have to hold F for a few seconds.

ya I am in the same boat, pressing F does not put down a monument nor does holding down F. Ive tried everything to get off this planet ... nothing works!

i've reloaded and restarted the game, i still cant place the monument.

has bioware said anything about this?

OP how did you get it to work? i've reloaded my game like 20 times, i've restarted my computer and still no monument.

I know for a fact I didn't miss anything in the mission... It just WONT let me place a monument when the option pops up on my screen. Really getting frustrating being stuck on this planet lol.

You can only place the monument at one location I've found. It's the part of the wreckage where Joker and you were last in, otherwise known as the helm of the ship. You should get a "Press F" indicator when you get close to it this part of the wreckage.

I've also found a bug in this DLC. If you go to the "V-Shaped" area where you overlook the cliff, your character can sometimes get stuck outside the map and you'll be walking on air above the cliff. Seems to be a hole in the map level.

If you need to get back to the Normany, just walk to the shuttle and you'll get the "Return to Normandy" popup.

Sigh, I went to the location you specified and tried to place monument , no luck. Also, walking to the shuttle I have no "return to Normandy" pop up. Under assignment it says "explore crash site -Locate a suitable place for the Normandy monument and recovery any sign of the 20 lost crew members"... Nothing updated after I got the 20 tags and I cant place this freaking monument! Might just have to start a new game

I place the monument where the Normandy logo is on the side of the ice.

I've tried every location for this and it still won't let me place the monument. Why would they make it the f key when you use space for every thing else? I already have all 20 dog tags and the shuttle never gives me the 'return to Normandy' option. This is extremely frusterating.

Very strange how it wont work for you. I think if you're really stuck the only solution may be to go to a previous save file or autosave and load from there.

if you changed your melee's config button, you have to press that button instead of f.

Yeah, this pretty much. I just held down F and it got placed (after a brief black screen).  All I can think is that y'all aren't in the right spot or aren't holding F down long enough. Of course this could be a genuine bug.

i put mine on the old galaxy map deck like place, after the flashback. worked on first try.

just like "yoji46" said, if you changed the mapping of melee, will have to simply tap that button. worked perfect, finally getting the hell of this damned rock XD
