At first I was reaaaaly excited, ugh.. I still am   I really hoped for some Solas-ish DLC, but judgeing by opinions, it's not gonna hapen in this one. Still, I must admit, I'm counting on at least some more romance options, to really get some more fire going. Well, even if not - we just have to be patient ( but BioWare pls.. IT'S SO HARD TO BE PATIENT ;___; )
Can't wait to play it, whatever it contains

I was really hype till I saw Solas on the party, that probably means it is not a post Cory DLC, kinda meh at this point.

At least I hope they put some nice banter that actually works this time. And the lack of PR for this content makes me weary of it.

I mean, on one hand, I'm annoyed that I (PS4'er) have to wait for the DLC.  I would buy it immediately, but now I'll basically just end up spoiling myself by watching play-throughs and reading the reviews of it.  Depending on how long the wait is, I know my willpower--there's no way I won't finetooth comb over every detail while I wait for it myself.

On the other hand, seems a bit of a gamble to make these things platform exclusive, I mean...  What if the DLC is really really really bad, couldn't the early players put the word out and put PS4ers off of buying it?  Seems like it would be a safer investment to have it all out at once?  

I guess I would just be more enthused to buy it immediately, as opposed to possibly hearing it's not worth it OR getting burnt out on hearing about it before I ever get close to being able to buy it.

Trailer and DLC both launch tomorrow. DLC only for X1 and PC tho, it'll release for other platforms at a later undisclosed date.

I wish these kinds of things didn't happen. I have an Xbox One so I'm good in this situation but it still sucks when I hear someone has to wait longer than I do or the flip-side. Like Destiny with X1 having to wait a whole year to get a few things that are on the PS4 only. Thats dumb. Then again, so was Destiny.

 

I hope the difference in DLC release date is as low as possible so you and yours can play it as soon as possible. I imagine a month is the best we can hope for.

But yeah, what is even the point of making it exclusive? Do they think that people so badly want to play the dlc that they'll up and run out to buy a X1, or upgrade their PCs, and buy the game again for the new system? I really don't see what's to gain from this... It shows how greedy Bioware and how much of a di** Microsoft still is to love throwing money at people for like no reason at all...

Need advice and nobody is being helpful.

I have a Canon PT that is post game at 150 hours. The latest save I have before end game (by accident) is 89 hours. Now, in this save basically everything is done except Blackwall's personal quest because I accidentally never took him with me so it never triggered.

If DLC isn't end game, I was going to just go back to that save and re-do it, that way I can at finish Blackwall's quest and do the DLC at a relatively high level (20). But if it's end game DLC, I'll have to do it and not have a complete finish because of Blackwall's. So... to go back or to not? I can't imagine this DLC is post game, or I'm sure you can play it post game without it Solas but I would hate to play DLC without my LI.
