Well thats something 
It would just feel really empty if nothing companion-wise changed.
Let's be honest, I am getting this regardless, but Im someone who loves storyline. Hopefully we get some more
Is this DLC post-endgame or pre-endgame? I don't think I have the energy to start a new game after finishing FOUR playthroughs

Well I barely got dialogue in my game so I don't know what's new or not. No cutscenes, either... I'm seriously watching 4 streams at once, LpPrince's looks to be the furthest in so far, but the Bio employee commented that prince is still only in the beginning, and his stream started somewhere between 10-10:30pm and it's 12:57 am (in NY time). I'm not actively watching it though, just switching back every now and then. There was two quest to go find some bear that's important to the Avvar clan and it got captured by another Avvar clan, and another to go out wipe out some bandits that were harassing the roads and passing travellers. In all the videos, everyone's pretty much just walking around the big map (which is gorgeous btw, but not snowy like I thought all of the Frostback Mountains were), and being a gopher for the Avvar clan lol. It seems like everyone streaming is trying to be a completionist. I wish they'd hurry up, I'm starting to get sleepy over here. 
So its just a little past midnight here.
Anything in Origin for the DLC?
I completed base game before patches as well. I already bought the dlc, then I'll need to wait for the patches to download and then I'll likely stream it for the BSN so people who want to watch it without paying for it can get an idea of what it is.

Meh, I paid $70 for the Deluxe Edition of the game. The extra $10 wasn't worth what I received, but I've gotten my monies worth out of the game. As much as $15 is too much for what I'm reading, I'm still gonna pick it up. I enjoy the game THAT much.

*I'm playing the game on casual, so take that into consideration
*I'm not trying to play the game at the best capabilities, so I'll be mucking about
*I won't be in chat much as I'll be focused on screen and looking at chat BLOWS when you're trying to pay attention
*I really wish I could set up a donation pool so people could help fund this and the rest of my life, loool
*Is this too many points? I'm gonna keep going
*I've got plenty of time to game so if I stream again and start earlier, it'll be going on for quite some time, depending on DLC length

My game ran fine, but Twitch pooped towards the end there, so I went offline. No point in pushing through the game if people can't watch.
Most of the quests feel like they belong in the Hinterlands and the story seems to take forever to get going. I'm watching my friend play it(and doing the combat for her since she's only at level 21 and she stinks at combat) and we're both getting really bored. It's not even 10:30 PM and we both feel like packing it in for the night. The combat is indeed difficult and the new map is indeed pretty but it all just feels like filler that got cut from the game.
Answer please: is this post ending DLC or pre ending. Also around when do we begin the DLC. I want to know this then I'm out of here because I don't want to be spoiled. Thanks for answers.
For the stream I loaded up my save which was post-game and it worked, though the DLC appears to be one you can play at any time. At no point have I encountered anything that HAD to take place after the game ended.

From what I'm seeing in LpPrince's live stream, it doesn't look too impressive. At least not worth the $15 price tag, maybe $5... But still I haven't seen the entire thing yet though, so I won't judge it until the end. New monsters, I saw some dinosaur looking thing... and there was a fade rift with 4 pride demons so it seems they upped the difficulty a bit. Mostly just running around claiming camps, nothing too story-ish yet.
I only went after the camps because thats a thing I do early. hahaha

Well, I only just began. For now, it just feels like another zone that I played in the main game. No experimenting with new mechanics or such things yet, so it feels like it fits the main game like a glove. Though the avvars rock-climbing was pretty cool to see. hahaha
I don't know how I feel about it yet. I need more time to actually have an opinion.

No idea, his username iirc, was bioadmiral and there was a number after it. He commented "what's all this?" and i said "newly released dragon age dlc", he replied "lol I know, I worked on it" and then him and some of the other commenters started chatting, saying you were only in the beginning of the dlc and there was still much more to go.
