No idea, his username iirc, was bioadmiral and there was a number after it. He commented "what's all this?" and i said "newly dragon age dlc", he replied "lol I know, I worked on it" and then him and some of the other commenters started chatting, saying you were only in the beginning of the dlc and there was still much more to go.

Not having a good time so far. Kind of bored. Feel like I'm playing Demon Souls instead of Dragon Age, and I mean that in a bad way when it comes to the story. I don't know why they thought adding another large map to collect random items was a priority to make first.

Well I barely got dialogue in my game so I don't know what's new or not. No cutscenes, either... I'm seriously watching 4 streams at once, LpPrince's looks to be the furthest in so far, but the Bio employee commented that prince is still only in the beginning, and his stream started somewhere between 10-10:30pm and it's 12:57 am (in NY time). I'm not actively watching it though, just switching back every now and then. There was two quest to go find some bear that's important to the Avvar clan and it got captured by another Avvar clan, and another to go out wipe out some bandits that were harassing the roads and passing travellers. In all the videos, everyone's pretty much just walking around the big map (which is gorgeous btw, but not snowy like I thought all of the Frostback Mountains were), and being a gopher for the Avvar clan lol. It seems like everyone streaming is trying to be a completionist. I wish they'd hurry up, I'm starting to get sleepy over here. 

 

I'm a completionist as far as Inquisition goes. Next stream should be a long one.

I have a strong suspicion that this was just unfinished content that they cut from the game and then finished after launch to sell to us. It's just a new map that feels exactly like almost every other map. It doesn't feel unique, it doesn't have an epic, important story to tell, and it doesn't add anything new to the game. The story is boring as hell to boot. Really feels pointless and not at all worth $15. I cannot stress that enough. Unless you think each map is worth $15 this is an overpriced DLC. I don't know of anyone who was clamoring for more of the same, for Hinterlands 2.0, so I have no idea why this DLC exists.

At this point in my playthrough early as hell that I'm in, I'm not amazed or thinking, "This is gonna be awesome".

 

I'm sort of apathetic, going through the motions, not loving or hating. We'll see if that changes.

If this was announced earlier more people would freak out and complain that it was exclusive to pc and xbone after they went and bought it for ether there ps3, 360 or ps4 and have to wait till a month later.

I really hate Microsoft's business practices, they even make it so they can't say anything quite obviously because they are greedy ******s. This is like buying a cake, but can't get the icing because some ******s bought it all. I'm SOOOO mad.

Tomorrow...err, today(its past midnight here lol). Perhaps starting in the morning, maybe around noon. I have no idea. I'll mention it here. I'm only streaming for the benefit of those without access to the DLC and those that aren't sure whether to get it or not. If people aren't watching, I won't be streaming.

 

But given the 90+(including a Bioware developer) audience I had for the first stream, I think I'll be streaming yet again.

Also, I have a question-

 

Before Inquisition came out, word went around that Gwendoline Christie did some voice acting for the game. "Horns up" being a hashtag used, either for qunari or just as a "rock on" sort of thing. Anyway, I don't recall her voice being part of the main game(I could be wrong). But I could've sworn when I was playing Hakkon that one of the characters in the DLC had her voice. I wonder if this is where her voice went;if so, was it recorded before the game launched?

You're kidding right? How much clearer do I have to be? After ME3 and da2 you think BW would easily open themselves to more controversy? The community is already n a hair trigger as it is.  You think people would not be upset over time exclusive dlc? Imagine buying a game new only to later find that any new content for it is going to come a month later after the main 2 platforms? You don't think people are going to massively upset over this? If bw announced this a month ago with it being timed exclusive, you don't understand that it would be a month of hordes of people whining about it? You think bw wants a month of that?

 

To make it clear for you, basically this dlc was announced like this because bw wanted to avoid even more controversy.

Just finished it. Took about 5-6 hours (not super completionist) could be rushed in 2-3 if you knew where everything was. 

Ending was pretty good, definitely a decent DLC. Though the price maybe a bit high. Some really good funny bits. Nice new items and materials.

I don't think you'll know that for quite some time. In my little stream I had Cass, Varric, and Sera but nothing notable to the area really came up.
