How story focused is this DLC? I mean like are there new cutscenes for the character, interesting story etc.?
First dlc: Jaws of Hakkon [Out now!]

No it's not! The order 1886 asks you to shell out 60 bucks for 6 & a half hours of content! & that is with doing mostly everything. You could get maybe 8 if do DID everything. But that still isn't worth 60 bucks, especially when a third of it is QTEs.
This gives you 6 hours of content for a fraction of that. & that's all game play. No crummy QTEs or overly long cut scenes.
Are seriously telling people to pay OVERPRICED GAMES ???
Please don't do this, if we begin to encourage this we will in 2 or 4 years pay 100$ for 2 hours gameplay with this customer behavior...

I have a feeling this is an area that was cut from the original game due to time restraints and finished post-release for DLC.
Considering my only real issue with Inquisition was that I felt there were too many low-story questing areas in proportion to main storyline missions I'm not particuarly excited to see yet another large questing area as the first DLC.
I do appreciate them announcing it the day before it was released though. There hasn't been nearly enough buildup to be disappointed.

The bad thing for Bioware in this case is price comparisons. I just finished playing Ori and The Blind Forest the other day;a $20 game that took me 13ish hours to beat with beautiful visuals, a stunning soundtrack, and a story that left a single tear in my eye when I beat the game. It was art that surpassed the hype surrounding it.
So I very much think that was worth the cost. After that, the next thing I spend that kind of money on has to knock one out of the park. If this DLC is cheap, great. If its around $15, I may be disappointed. Bioware has overpriced DLCs in the past in my opinion. Ex- the Omega DLC for ME3.
Bioware DLC has always been overpriced (at least for pc) It will be interesting to see the price and nice to not use stupid bioware points to buy it

Depends on overpriced in the end. a $15 DLC is usually the absolute limit now a days since some small scale games go for that and last a bit longer than a DLC, like folks pointed out above.Bioware DLC has always been overpriced (at least for pc) It will be interesting to see the price and nice to not use stupid bioware points to buy it
The real question is what are we getting? the answer is an area the size of the hinterlands, wartable missions, an in game story for the area that will likely be divorced from the plot so it can be played post game and mid game, new schematics and materials, party banter and interactions, and a dragon fight I presume.
Mileage varies if all of that is worth $15 or if its overpriced.

So they wanty 15$ for another fetchquest region with little to no story? Seriously?
Would insta-buy for $5.

I'll be skipping this one.
After hearing some people's impressions on it does sound like it was a cut map that was finished and released as DLC. It being basically Hinterlands: The Sequel, might explain why it was released with practically no build up or marketing.
Hopefully that means something more story focused is also in the works

From the sounds of it i'll avoid it as i've had enough of endless grinding fetch.
Not impressed at the exclusive release either.

next time buy the game after 7 months and you will have it complete, with no cut and with a lower price!

As I have checked the subreddit, I will pass this one either. Vanilla still needs a lot of improving as well.

The more I heard about this DLC the less I like it, and this is one of the few time I'm not looking forward for new content from BioWare.

When is this actually being made available? I've been checking Origin since I woke up and nothing yet. Is it different for Europe?
