Bioware have little control over the timed exclusivity thing since it’s all to do with an agreement between EA and Microsoft.

After reading various impressions my belief is that this was indeed cut content padded out for release as an interim DLC while they work on something better in the background. I mean, there's no way they'd have every voice actor for the companions back just for a few flavour lines and no new scenes, surely? 'My fifteen lines are done? Ok, later.' So I'm guessing they recorded more during their sessions. Not to mention, there's just no way Bioware is THAT blind to the criticisms about the empty areas and filler quests. I'll wait until something fancier comes out.

I'm playing on PC and I'm itching for it to appear on Origin, I can't help but feel sorry for PS3/PS4/360 people.

Could be. From the little I've played, it doesn't seem like the kind of content that brings brand new experiences you wouldn't already find plenty of in the main game.

I'm with you on this one. I think I'll just purchase the DLCs once BioWare is done with this game entirely and moves to another franchise or another game. Right now, it's not worth it to pay for this expansion which has only 5 to 6 hours worth of content. If it had up to 15 to 16 hours worth of content, however, I wouldn't mind this purchase. Personal preference of mine is that hours = money.  1$ = 1 hour. I got 120 hours of gameplay for a 60 bucks game, so this means I got more than my money's worth. This DLC can wait.

Even if the PS4/3 got the DLC today it would have been delayed until the end of the week like every other Bioware DLC due to some lame ass excuse about Sony doing updates a certain way or whatever other bullshit they always seemed to come up with in the past.

youNo it is not and the dlc's that are installed are english audio, armor of the light of the Iquisition (a bonus I got from the cashier) and destruction (only multi)

I feel the same way, exactly the same way because of five little words i cannot play "Rise of the Tomb Raider" totally swore me of that developer permanently, even if it comes to PC someday i'll never spend money on them..

I was hoping they pulled this kamikaze DLC drop because they wanted to be all Beyonce-like, but I'm starting to feel they might've done it because they knew this DLC is just more of everything that people did not like about the main game.

 

This DLC is like them completely removing Exalted Plains or something from the main game, and then just repackaging it for a DLC. Getting any extra content is welcome, but overcharging it like this is just sad. Though I doubt the $15 was BIoware's idea. They should know better by now.

edit: amazed people are still throwing a hissy fit over the time exclusive? This DLC is barely anything. Save your drama for when they time the release for a real DLC.
