I was hoping they pulled this kamikaze DLC drop because they wanted to be all Beyonce-like, but I'm starting to feel they might've done it because they knew this DLC is just more of everything that people did not like about the main game.

 

This DLC is like them completely removing Exalted Plains or something from the main game, and then just repackaging it for a DLC. Getting any extra content is welcome, but overcharging it like this is just sad. Though I doubt the $15 was BIoware's idea. They should know better by now.

edit: amazed people are still throwing a hissy fit over the time exclusive? This DLC is barely anything. Save your drama for when they time the release for a real DLC.

Eh, there's nothing wrong with bringing back  content that ended up on the cutting room floor to be fixed up and released as DLC.  I mean, heck there are parts of the Citadel DLC that content cut from teh main game (like Joker's story at the bar)

 

What is important is incorporating how people responded to the vanilla game and using that to further polish and improve the dlc.  From the sounds of things, I'm not sure that happened here.

I don't think isolating their PS4 fans is the right way to go about things, but it's far too late to change things now. I'll just wait and see if this DLC will be on sale or something.

In this case it's 100% the EA + Microsoft Alliance that has decided this timed exclusivity. I don't think you'll find any game developer in the world who deliberately wants to exclude DLC content from a console they launched the game on.

Honestly, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like that to other consoles... Particularly those who aren't giving them extra cash to be exclusive. I'm not overly excited for this DLC, so I don't really mind the wait it gives me plenty of time to see if it is well worth the asking price.

The trailer comes out after the DLC drops.  It's as if a studio released a movie on Monday and then on Thursday the trailer shows up.

For all the problems with this DLC, this is not true.  You can back-and-forth from the area.

It will probably go live when the trailer go live today so depending on where you live in the world it will unlock at various times I'm assuming late morning in America & Canada  so late afternoon for a UK release and so on.

 

Xbox One release was a error I was told so they got it before the official release.
