F*ck twitter!  No, really. They have an official blog, official game site and official forum with 'news& announcements' section. I follow all of them. If they'd rather post a message on a 3rd party service - so be it, but don't ever tell me about BW community management, as they don't have one.

 

BSN has most of the active and dedicated players, those who still care, about the game, about the setting, about the characters. They read forums, follow blog and news threads. But noooo, it's not good enough. One is not worthy of their attentions, unless one uses a stupid 140-digits messaging service.

Man, Idk if it's all of the gaming community or just Biowares' community, but it comes of as just whiners. From mass effect to dragon age ask I've read is just griping and moaning for the most part. They say they have no plans for single player DLC. Everyone blows up. They put out one, and what's everyone do? Whine and complain more. They are just never going to win.

Ahh, I see. As for programming, yes it's hard but when deadlines approach and you sign off on a project, it gets announced and all, it had better be ready to go else they should just shut up about it until it is.

 

Announcing the release of something, then having it "leaked" early to one system while the rest of us wait despite being told we'd also be getting it right now, is a bad way to handle things.

You're kidding right? How much clearer do I have to be? After ME3 and da2 you think BW would easily open themselves to more controversy? The community is already n a hair trigger as it is.  You think people would not be upset over time exclusive dlc? Imagine buying a game new only to later find that any new content for it is going to come a month later after the main 2 platforms? You don't think people are going to massively upset over this? If bw announced this a month ago with it being timed exclusive, you don't understand that it would be a month of hordes of people whining about it? You think bw wants a month of that?
 
To make it clear for you, basically this dlc was announced like this because bw wanted to avoid even more controversy.

I was confused by your post because the sentence structure was a nightmare. Now that I know what you were trying to say I disagree. Who flips out over DLC coming out this long after launch? Timed exclusives are a thing these days and we knew this would be one since last Summer so your point is really moot.
