Let me just correct you there.

Bioware/EA could not care less if you mod your game or not. Forstbite 3 is mod-unfriendly. Frostbite 3, not Bioware. Not EA. FROSTBITE 3.

Another shame about FB3.  Right behind The Elder Scrolls, it was the Dragon Age games that were the most downloaded and modded on Nexus.  With new patches breaking existing mods and how the engine is already very difficult to mod, it seems only the most persistant and devote modders will carry on.

Hi, I am a member of the DeadEndThrills screenshotting community, and have confirmed that hotsampling no longer works with Patch 6. The game does not re-render when the window is resized. I did some testing and narrowed down the culprits to the executable and dbdata.dll. Though I am sure it's not your top priority, it must have been a pretty significant change to cause this, since Frostbite 3 can be hotsampled out of the box, so far as I know.

I know a lot of people currently shooting this game, including myself, and while I don't mind remaining on Patch 5 to shoot what is there, it would be a shame if I am unable to shoot any of the DLCs. Your game is beautiful, and it would please many people if this issue could at least be looked into.

Okay, so it is Frostbite 3. Bioware is still responsible for using it. And, quit frankly I could give a **** less. I don't need any new updates or DLCs.

It's not in the patch notes, so I don't think there's any changes here, but:

-Are the multiGPU issues fixed? Like the flickering moon/distant textures, and the opaque fog? I know in patch 5 the flickering ground textures were fixed, but what I mention here wasn't.

-Mantle loading speed still slow?

And are there yet any announcement about Black Emporium?

Forgive for not going through all these pages, or that ranting topic, to look for an aswer.

Here's a possible work around. Uninstall the patch or game if needed. Play unpatched until you get what you need then reinstall the patch.

I have a digital copy on xbox one, so I can't do that. Apparently I HAVE to be connected to the internet to install it. Not sure why that matters exactly, and of course because I'm connected to the internet, the patches are installed right along with it.

Bioware, you should consider giving players a bonus in multiplayer if they don't use health fonts. There's really no reason for us NOT to use them at this point; now that players can't wait inside the healing font room on Wave 5/5. You should get some sort of exp/gold bonus for each font you don't use. It could go like this:

1 unused healing font: +10% exp/gold bonus
2 unused healing font: +20% exp/gold bonus
3 unused healing font: +30% exp/gold bonus
4 unused healing font: +40% exp/gold bonus
All healing fonts unused: +50% exp/gold (Routine), +75% exp/gold (Threatening), +100% exp/gold (Perilous )

I remember when you guys were first showing DAMP, you mentioned that players have to make a decision of whether or not to use the healing font. That's simply not the case now. I believe if these changes were made, players would actually start to consider whether or not they want to take the chance at getting more gold/exp.

Also on xbox one, you can't simply delete the patch, disconnect the internet, then play, there's only the option to delete the entire game. They completely dumbed that down for us.

That's ok, because they won't be getting any more.

On the ps3 digital version I can unistall the game and reinstall then either turn my internet off or just say no to the patch. There's no multiplayer or keep and it signs me out of psn but single player works just fine. Might not work on XBONE or PC though

It won't even let me install unless I'm connected to the internet on xbox one.

I found another lovely bug with this DLC.

I purchased the new Avvar heraldry and applied it to skyhold to see how it looked. I thought it was unique so I kept it. About an hour into playing, I tried to enter Cullen's office and could not because the heraldry was hanging too low over the entrances. It was as if my character was running against a wall. All three entrances are blocked by it.

The WORST part is that I tried to remove the heraldry and changed it back to the Free Marches one, but for some reason, Cullen's office is STILL blocked! I can't get in! Even after I removed the heraldry. I am completely barred from entering his office. Pretty bad bug.

Edit: Reloading a save fixed the issue of properly applying the free marches heraldry. However, the Avvar heraldry still blocks the doors to his office so it's a bug to be addressed. But if you run into this issue, change the heraldry back to something else, save, then reload that new save. Should be fixed.

This patch seems to have made the game load slower and longer between each screen on PS4. Please fix that. It's annoying. It ran better on earlier patches.

I have all kinds of errors on the ps3 the patch makes them worse. Freezing sometimes when opening the character page, loud screechs that could blow my speakers, NPCs bobing up and down, enemies disapearing when I approach or while fighting, textures flashing in and out like trees and shrubs.

Recent interview, with Kotaku I think, said Black Emporium in May.

Well, actually Bioware had no choice. FB3 was imposed on them by EA.

Either....or, they are one and the same. I absolutely detest the bothersome Tactical camera nonsense. You can't even unbind it in the options menu. Even that bullshit is locked. That said, one can only assume that it was done deliberately, by either Bioware of Frostbite 3. The politics of gaming. They are trying to force gamers to play the game their way. You can't even turn of the damn tutorials.

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but since the latest patch, my textures drop from fade-touched to something much lower after a short time playing (anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes). This is particularly noticeable on character models and equipment. Even though the game's visual quality is visibly degraded, the menu still shows that all my settings are maxed. I've never had this trouble with the game prior to this patch, and this is the only game with which I am having this trouble.

My specs are:

i7 4820k @ 3.70GHz

16GB DDR3 Corsair RAM

XFX DD R9290x 8GB edition (Omega Drivers)

ASRock X79 Extreme6 Motherboard

Modding is broken because the guy who enabled us to is on holiday and BioWare kept changing the patch folder structure in the meantime twice.

I blame BioWare for changing the folders and wait until mods can be made available again :)

Bioware chose to be incorporated by EA, so no matter what, bioware is still at fault.
