Anyway, I hope a future patch (or even a DLC) addresses the things that I mod.  The future Black Emporium DLC (which is free and will be released early May) has potential to fix at least the pajama/hair issue, so maybe there's hope for everyone--PC and Console users alike.

Thanks. Is that information about the Black Emporium official? I ask because last I checked it was supposed to come with patch 6. And just in May? Damn...

Mark Darrah said it on twitter.  I'm bad at navigating twitter or I'd give a direct link to the actual tweet, but I got the information from this thread: http://forum.bioware...mporium-update/

  Thanks a lot.

Seems a lot just for the regular Emporium. I hope this means that it will really come fully tested, with great extras, and a gazilliom well balanced items. One can dream. ;)

You know, I do understand and admit Bioware made mistakes, and it's great that one employee seems to be very active in this thread and is responding to issues. But you see, many of you guys are being extremely rude and that's going to more than likely scare Bioware off (again), so no harm in tryong to not act like an arsehole. You can complain without bitching so much on the company.

Just a friendly reminder. Feel free to ignore it, as usual.

Also, please try to start thinking like inteligent beings, people. Modding is not supported because the developers can't possibly hope to make the patches ALSO CONSIDERING the hundreds of mods that might or might not be made by some random user anyday now, especially on a new engine that they themselves seem to be having trouble tinkering with. They are not pushing out the modding community, they just can't afford to somehow realistically support it as of now.

So you made a mod and it broke? Sorry, but boo-hoo to you. They simply can't take your particular mod in consideration when making patches, nor should they. Geez.

No, it's not one mod or any few mods - it's modding in general that hasn't been taken into consideration. I don't think modding works the way you think it does...

Anyway, the point was that we'd like them to take modding into consideration. And in my opinion, modding should always be taken into consideration. Look what modding has done to the longevity of popularity in games long past their prime. Look at how many people still play Skyrim. Or DA:O for that matter.

All we were asking for is the bare minimum we had in the last patch - where at least they worked. The community made the tools/programs to do it themselves. They make the mods themselves. They haven't asked BioWare for anything but the game they bought, that used to work with them. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Just a sort of "hey guys, remember us? Please don't forget about us" kind of message.

So, in essence, ease up man. That's all.

I liked that mouse buttons can be bound now, but for some reason my game won't keep my two extra mouse buttons bound after I exit the game.  I have been trying to bind them to the power slots 7 and 8 and each time I restart those two bindings are set back to the 7 and 8 key.

You are a pretty useless 'DAI FAN' aren't you DAIFAN?

How many titles in this series do you actually own? How much of the DLC? Because your game icons under your name are telling. You aren't much of a fan and I find it hilarious that you spend more time on here complaining about how the game is broken and how you'll never get another Bioware title again in the hopes that the absence of your meagre commitment to this developer will actually affect their bottom line.

You are even worse as a troll. Please by all means leave, you really will not be missed by anyone and the rest of us will be a little bit freer to report bugs and issues to Bioware without the distraction of you.

Not sure if it's been discussed yet, but "Perseverance" is still broken for most of us that got bugged by Sera's prank breaking the messenger flag.

Any news on when we're going to get a patch that provides a work around for the quest update trigger/flag?

NEWS FLASH: NOBODY CARES IF YOUR STUPID MODS BREAK!!! MODS ARE NOT SUPPORTED OR ENCOURAGED!!

The same could be said for your PS3 autosave freezing issues; minimum specs = minimum performance. Don't take it out on others because you decide on an inferior and immutable platform leaving you with no control and no options. I can understand that's a rough spot to be in, but the PC players aren't to blame for it.

Is there a reason why armor is now taken out in one hit be it archer soldier hyena etc. and why some of my characters are not doing as much damage as they used to

My Templar is now useless. Health and armor knocked down fast archer doing less damage

Even arcane warrior is suffering. Wtf??? Did they do !

I'm not. Game is working a charm and my banter bug is no longer. Just wish the mods weren't broken :(

Well, that's a bit rude. I'm pretty surprised to see this coming from you, of all people.

Then again I've been away from BSN for a while so things might have changed.

Edit: That ain't the same DAFAN hahahaha so IDC if you're a bit of a rooster to modders.

Hi Kapula,

This is a known issue and is being worked on. The patch notes have been updated to reflect this bug. Please do not use Ice Dragon Bone or Veil Quartz when crafting a shield.

For all of you frustrated about broken mods, I encourage you to check out this post on Reddit which might give you some insight into why this happens.

That is all good and well, and the decision or representation of the issue stands, but so does the break in experience many of us have.

If looking into the possibility that basics mods will work or can in general be implemented - as it was possible until Patch 4, is from BW's side not worth the afford, that is of course your decision. But fact is as well that many of us have used the works of incredibly smart and great modders out there and suddenly we can no longer do so.

We are aware that a lot of mods have to be updated with patches - and we don't mind because we know it can happen. But there is a difference between having to update a few mods after a patch or not being able to use any at all.

So - as I was planning to say, the issue stands. BW doesn't care about mods, since they never said the game would receive mod support - but we - the mod users -  care and it will simply reflect in our decisions. Some will decide to go with the original game to at least be able to play any DLC, some will decide not buy any DLCs or future content at all until they can use mods again.

So, the way I see it, there is no real winner - but hey, that's my personal opinion. Whether you agree or not doesn't really matter.

Dude, I think you managed to misunderstand my post almost entirely.
First, when I said "your particular mod" I didn't use it to mean "some mods". I meant it as "mods are made everytime, by many users, and work in different ways. There's no way you hope Bioware will take all of those into account".

I think it's you who has a different idea of how modding works. Now, I'm not an expert myself, but it's not a matter of Bioware just switching a "support/not support" switch at Frostbite engine. It's a much more complex issue than that, and ever since modding is modding (at least in general cases) it's about the users cracking the game's code and modifying it in different ways themselves. How exactly do you propose they take into consideration the modding community, knowing it's a vast one and not all the mods work the same way? When it seems they themselves are having trouble tinkering with the engine. Seriously, how?

This is not about a PC x console wars, and no, the same cannot be said about what should be an essential feature to even PLAY the vanilla version. While mods are indeed pretty cool and helpful, they are by definition not an essential or official feature to the game. Just deal with it.

PS4 - patch 1.6 - Winter Palace (Wicked Eyes  Wicked Hearts) - black screen stuck on loading attempting to re-enter the Vestibule - never fully loads.

Prior to that, it was stuck attempting to load the Morrigan scene - and you lose court approval while it's stuck, so all your efforts to be fast are wasted. Shut down DA:I and resumed but appears the autosave files are corrupt. Attempted saving prior to entering/re-entering Vestibule and it appeared to work but that get's stuck loading or saving or whatever it's trying to do.

Will try a few more times and see if I can get a save file working. Got one autosave file working prior to the Morrigan scene and after a several manual saves (just in case) managed to get down to the servants quarters.

Had this trouble before patch 1.5 - can't recall if it went away with 1.5 or not.

Actually i was scared when the freeze happen,i thing i will lost all my progress when i play this part of the game. A freeze in a load screen, and isn´t fixed   Really Bioware? I thinked Rockstar was the only ******* that don´t pay attention to their games.

Im playing in PS3

Really, inferior. Let me tell you something, if people really care about graphics or mod options, they obvsiously will buy a PC, but why they don´t buy a PC...i don´t now.... o yes, we don´t care a **** about that, we play games for enjoy them not to presume about that.

By the way, Bioware fix the problems please. And performance too

Schematic bug, not sure if it was introduced with patch 6 or with Jaws Of Hakkon, but it affects Battlemage Amor arms.

Bioware, please fix:

*snip*

That bug has been around before patch 6.  I can't remember if it came with the vanilla game, but I avoid using those schematics because of that bug.  It tends to pop up in cutscenes.

I have encountered a sound bug since patch 6 with the installation and completion of the Jaws of Hakkon DLC.

I've been gaining influence for the quests and missions I complete, but since my Inquisition level is already 20, this is causing an issue. I am now at 22,290/22,000 experience for level 20, and every time I close a menu or enter an area, I hear the Inquisition level sound. It's as if the game is trying to grant my Inquisition a level or is notifying me that I have levelled even though I haven't.

I'm pretty sure this is the cause because it only happens on my saves which have my Inquisition experience past 20,000 at level 20. It's EXTREMELY annoying and is not fixed by reloading saves or completely restarting the game.

Is anyone else all of a sudden getting all these display driver errors with the new patch?  Inquisition has run perfectly for me from day one, but with the last patch, it's been crashing with every single cutscene, something I never experienced before... until the recent patch :(
