I always open Origin first thing in the morning so that it can auto-update my games if they have updates.  Today nothing happened until I started the game (tried to), and the patch started.  First time it bugged out and wasn't even moving so I restarted Origin a number of times before it finally verified the files and started the patch.  It started off okay at 1 Mbps but is now sitting at 0.

 

Almost every update I've done to this game has been this way and it hampers my limited playtime when it's sitting there patching forever.

I tried to download it from PSN. But on a check of an update it tells me my version of the game is the current one. The new patch does not get recognized by the system at all. Obviously it should be there and it should be starting to download the new patch onto my console when I check for a game update!

 

So I don't know if this is some sort of delay from BioWare or an issue witht the PSN?

I've been trying to play for hours, but can't thanks to Origin. UPDATE REQUIRED, followed by WE'VE ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM. It did get to %8 once. I wish this were a rare occurance, but I've given up expecting anything from Bioware since they're puppets on one of EA's many slick, black tentacles now thanks to Origin.

Try restarting in Clean Boot mode. There are instructions for how to do this on the Origin forums. Can't link the post here because this is not the same computer; don't have Origins on this one. I was having the same problem but now the download is proceeding. Download is also going much faster.
