I wonder how many cutscenes and cinematic conversations we'll have. If it's just another region to explore with tons of codexes to read, then I'll pass.

Is it available now with EA early access?
It's available now for the XBox One (EA-EA or not!).
That said, EA Access members get it cheaper apparently.

Just to clarify, I couldn't give a toss about some maps for battlefield on timed exclusive, but on a story driven RPG it's utterly, utterly unforgivable. It will no doubt be spoiled within a couple of days of release and whether there is a financial kick back or not, I paid for the game on day 1 at full price and expect, rightly or wrongly, to be afforded the respect that comes with parting with my pounds to support the studio.
Even though I have an Xbox One, I can completely understand the frustration that comes with having to wait for a timed exclusive. That being said, isn't there a chance it would have been spoiled regardless? Xbox content always comes out a couple of days before Playstation, timed release or not.

So PS4 users have no idea when we will get it?
Great. What will be the point of getting it when it will probably be spoiled for everyone in a week.
I just wont bother wasting my money, i mean yeah i get to experience it for myself when it finally comes out but i'm not exactly rolling in disposable income.
So yeah, i'll just get bloodborne and watch someone on youtube play the DLC.

Honestly, I'm more conserned about whether the DLC will justify a $15 price tag than I am about the platform "exclusivity."

Hopefully, this is included with the deluxe version. Even tho I doubt it will be.

*Sigh* There is a big difference between having timed exclusives and not even telling people how long it will be exclusive for! That's BS. Very alienating to those 3 platforms, and I'm not even on them!
Unfortunately it's not BS. It's a NDA contract. The only selling point of a timed exclusive is that you don't know how much time you'll have to wait. From the outside it seems like a wrong strategy, I don't see a timed exclusive DLC pushing someone to buy a new console AND a new copy of the game. I don't see how the sales boost can compensate for the price they paid EA. I'm probably missing something.

PS4 owner here, not gonna get it when they finally decide to release it for us second class PS4 owners, you know, the people who bought more copies of the game than the X1 owners.
If they ever do a Game of the Year version with all the DLC I might. might, pick up a used copy somewhere but not gonna give Bio my money.

Timed exclusives in general are BS

I knew there would be timed exclusive for DLC, which is crappy enough, but not even saying when it will release on other platforms? That's more then a little ridiculous. A $15 exclusive DLC isn't going to move consoles and not telling anyone else when they get to play the content is just a jerk move. Granted it's Microsoft's jerk move, but Bioware was happy to agree to it to get money.
I've had a few issues with DAI overall, but it didn't sour my view of Bioware. This, however, did.

The crazy thing is, it seems they've just ticked off their largest player base. If MP is an accurate reflection on player numbers PS4 has the largest player base across all platforms.I knew there would be timed exclusive for DLC, which is crappy enough, but not even saying when it will release on other platforms? I'm a PC a gamer so am used to being left out of these things and am surprised we somehow got included with the Xboxers. A clerical error that will be rectified by the next DLC, I'm sure.

Wow that's expensive for DLC, hopefully it's got lots of content. I hate the gated release, but I'm not surprised as they gated the release of the game itself.

So this is the first $15 DLC for Dragon Age. It was worth it for Citadel but not for Omega, so I'm curious to see what the DA team's idea of a $15 DLC looks like.

Well, don't I feel dumb for supporting BioWare's games. No more. This is such bullshit. I'll trade in DAI back to GameStop and buy the 'Ultimate Edition' we all know is coming used. **** you, too, BioWare. Assholes.

PS4 owner here. I could have bought it for PC too, but they said it would be early for Xbox so I thought it didn't matter...
Well, only thing I can do is let EA know about how I see this. If you don't like it, you should do the same. Maybe it makes some good in the future, I don't know...

I think they've made the right decision.
PS4 folks will be busy with Bloodborne anyway.
No, it's not a right decision.

I'm playing this on PC, but I still hate exclusivity. Makes me not want to touch Xbox anymore because they always pull this and it ticks me off.
This release is bizarre though.. PC never gets exclusivity. I mean there's steam, but that's different.

PS4 has sold more so more then likely the PS4 user base is higher then the X1 user base, though I don't imagine the gap is huge and I'm guessing this agreement was inked before the consoles went on sale or fairly close after launch.
I think the only the first DLC is platformed gated, if anything else comes out it should be able to be all at once. Considering this seems to be a one off, mid campaign DLC I'm not to eager for it anyway. I'm sure it'll be good on it's own, but I'm not chomping at the bit for it if it doesn't tie into the overall arc of the mythology/what DAI stared with that lovely reveal with the end credit scene and all that. I'll get it somewhere down the line, but hopefully in some sort of sale.

Interesting. I have to wait for the PS4 version though, but I'll happily look at the trailer and reviews in the mean time
Maybe we can get new gear! *fingers crossed*
But 15bucks................ yikes. I remember a time when dlc was 10 bucks, sometimes 5
