The Friday Twitch stream is talking about it,
so why invite those involved in the SP dlc to a multiplayer stream?
Not certain, but hopeful.

I don't have FB. Why on earth would they not post it on their own forums?

Maybe they want to increase their twitter/facebook followers? That is my best guess.

Primarily because they only posted it on FB 10 minutes ago. That's my guess, anyway.

It is listed in the Twitter thread,

There will always be a "Caliban", regardless of DLC, so to me this is the least of the issue.
Maxing out the manifect is a first world problem for the top 0.01% that puts in so much time that they grow disheartened anyhow. It's not them that Bioware makes money on anyhow, so why bother catering to their specific problems.
No, replayability is what they should be looking at, so obviously more classes and new maps should be the first in line, although I wouldn't say no to a "Nightmare" difficulty, and new armour tiers with improved armour ratings either.
I wouldn't say no to a "Nightmare" difficulty ...
At the moment that exists, it is Threatening with pugs running around zone 5 ![]()
Let's not talk Caliban... It is one of the last items that I'm missing.
Dwarven Longsword for life!! =(

This is the world we live in. Use social media religiously or get left behind.
Where would we all be today if twitter and facebook didn't exist? Actually let's not answer that, too depressing.
Being someone who likes to think he has common sense I like to think of a few facts.
Did Bioware say they didn't want to split the player base?
Did they say MP dlc was going to be free?
Is this Hakkon DLC free? It seems from what I see it's SP...thus cost money. Which would mean no MP stuff.
That said...cosmetic stuff wouldn't be splitting the player base.
SP assets are used in the MP part of the game though, so it's a fair question (and likely something that is too early for the MP devs to comment on).
I'm looking forward to an expanded item pool, making good items harder to get, with only 1 or 2 decent items per kit.
It is possible that they will add items into chests that results in less chance of obtaining the best-in-slot items, but new items are likely to be high level or even better than existing items, and it is possible that the loot pool will be changeable based upon which DLC's are installed or not installed, just as it occurred with MEMP.
If at least one of the two above-mentioned occurs, I wouldn't mind if new items in store chests resulted in a diluted loot pool. But I will say I think simply "adding items to new store chests" is not the best way to do things, as there would be significant backlash from people who have already spent their gold, while people who saved up gold such as myself will have an advantage. The best way, imo, would be to require the sale/use of crafting materials to obtain the new items, which would force people who saved gold to spend their gold just like everyone else, and additionally deal with the issue of useless crafting materials.
And bugs. Lots of bugs.
No rebuttal can be made here
.
"Assets" could be easily ported. Assets means new locations etc. So quite frankly, the SP People would likely be end up paying part of the bill for the creation of new areas which we can enjoy at a large stage as free multiplayer DLC.
I think they missed the bus already, as Neverwinter drops next week. It's going to take a pretty amazing multiplayer DLC to bring many people back, once they leave this grind and join the new one over there.

Between this and Bloodborne... Bioware might as well end support in April.
It will be interesting to see weekend challenge #s this week. Will xbox finally overtake ps4? I think so.

Could be, PS4 used to paste the Xbox One progress, but in recent weeks Xbox One has been catching up/PS4 falling back.
Most of this weekend's weekend challenge, Xbox One was almost neck and neck.
What is this neverwinter people keep speaking of. And will it be on PS4?
If I'm to prognosticate, I would say that the 1.xish GB download to the consoles this past Tuesday already provided us with the Multiplayer content that is being released to coincide with Jaws of Hakkon, and they'll just unlock it on Friday and people will get to play their precious Avvar. If I'm wrong, you can fling a goat at my house.

You might be right, but as MP dlc is usually also a separate download (e.g. Destruction)
the goat is 'on pause' pending Friday ![]()
