Is it me or this patch really sad?  Like really, it took you this long to give us the option to map more than 2 buttons?  Is it 1995?

Still waiting for the Black Emporium and a proper tactical camera before I reinstall, and frankly with PoE being released in 2 days I'm not going to be even looking at DA:I for at least a month.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm glad they're still working on the game.  I think there's a really playable game lurking under that mess.

some of us are really having problems. Two players caught in an update loop.. game needs update.. update installed, can't play without update.

Extra long loading screens with patch installed...

Cloud storage bug... launch from Origin... saves not synched... keeps game from launching...

My game flat out isn't loading. Yay!

Ok Origins crash report. Get's to 11% and then freezes. Crash report comes up to restart Origins. So far, rinse and repeat.

It seems mine installed without my consent. Lol only the broken mods prove I received patch 6 (easy fix).

No matter the size, I am SO GLAD to see this

"PC-specific: PC users will see improvements in mouse look toggle, and we’ve added binding support for mice with more than two buttons."

Don't anyone say that Bioware don't care about the PC community, they're listening :D

If you find a workaround as with Patch 5, please share how you did it :)

As far as I know, this latest fix messes up with mods (something related to how things are loaded) and the game won't even go past the loading screen, so I'll stick with patch 5 'till a solution is found (good thing I disabled auto-updates).

Thank you, Marion :)

It seems that renaming folders isn't working, though, this time might be harder than the last.

It feels like EA, BW or both are deliberately trying to sabotage modding and I have no friggin' clue as to why should they do that.

EDIT: folder renaming ain't working. Can't help but visualize somebody at BW/EA giggling like Hannibal Lecter for screwing up mods.

Again, I might just be a little paranoid.

I know. After playing Sims from 1-4, it's a common issue that somehow can always be resolved through trial and error.

Aw great, I can't even play as the patch is being downloaded. It will take two freaking hours! At least anybody knows what changes does it bring?

I've never used mods of any kind. Prefer the game to be played as it was intended. That said, very happy to finally see those last two mosaic pieces of The Fall in The Hinterlands have FINALLY been fixed so that they can now be easily picked up.

Here are their new locations:

The glitched 11th piece which had been located NW and above the Veil Fire Cave in the NW portion of the map, it is now located near the Glyph in the final room of that same cave. This piece was previously located in an area which required you to use a mount to access an area above that location.

The final 12th piece which was never accessible before, is now located in the Wolf Hollow Cave (part of the Horsemaster Dennet quest). It is in the NE area, in the alcove where you find some loot and a loot sack along with some skeletal remains.

Cheers!

Now I have to check to see if they fixed the missing mosaic piece from The Archdemon mosaic. It has always registered as having been picked up in previous playthroughs and I was even able to get a report from Gatsi at Skyhold with his thoughts on it but there would always be a piece missing from the assembled mosaic up on the wall at Skyhold.

Also nice to see that they fixed the cave near the Abyssal Dragon in The Western Approach. That was really annoying when you left after killing the dragon but before looting the cave.

The official creator for the mod manager said that unless you overwrite the official patch, mods won't work. They are trying to stop mods it seems.

I am at a loss for words for I can't see no actual reason to it.

No, really, I'm giving up trying to understand their rationale.

Thanks anyway for looking into it, Marion.

It's their IP. Like how artists don't like it when you modify their art and repost it somewhere else. I guess. I don't know.

Also, mods cause fandom drama sometimes.

Someone will find a fix eventually. I only used it for the "no sideburn" mod and to change the uniform, so for me it's not so bad, but for others it is.  :(

Glad to try and help!

I don't know, always thought that modding would boost sales somehow. Maybe I was wrong, then.

I know I wouldn't have played DAO 20+ times (yeah, that many) without mods.

True, you can do it, but some mods were actually good, like those restoring Morrigan's lost dialogues/scenes or adding some items.

Plus, Skip the Fade was a must for me - played legit 2 times through that Zelda-esque maze (get something to go through somewhere else) then I was like "Nope".

I just wish I had mods when I was 8 and played Megaman on NES just to add new weapons on an already good game - that's why I mod my games.
