Is he really? Abelas sounds different to me, and I am a huge fan of sith warrior's voice... and I haven't noticed that they are the same D:

It's very similar, and if Abelas sounds different, it's slightly different imo. Well, kudos to Mark for being a talented VA. :D

I think he uses a deeper, more gravelly voice for Abelas and this one's more his normal speaking voice.

I could be wrong, of course.

I only had time yesterday to do about three hours of Jaws of Hakkon and I've still got plenty to go. The most glaring thing that stood out to me is that a high volume of criticism this new dlc seems to be suffering is quite overblown and ridiculous. I feel like the majority of those hating on this content, must enjoy spouting off hyperbole?

I really liked the topography of the region and loved all of the Avvar culture. Admittedly I've wanted some of this kind of material from the lore since a barbarian origin was reportedly scrapped before release of Dragon Age: Origins. I've still not even gotten around to much of the quest stuff that will pop the four achievments and I see no valid reason to slam Jaws of Hakkon, at least at the level that some gamers are doing - - - right now? Makes no sense to me!

Is that new armor pictured the only new design you can get?

Yes, the other tier 4 armor are the same armor, coat and mail skin

I've heard that it takes about five hours.

It took me almost 10 hours to do everything, so it can vary.

I think the biggest issues that this DLC has, is that on the surface it just looks like more of the same stuff we got as Vanilla, and to a certain degree that is indeed true, its certainly not a radical shift to more story driven content that I think many people are pushing for.

I'm still not far in, and I've been avoiding spoilers, so I cannot say for certain whether it picks up in the main story department or not

Yeah pretty much sums it up. I'm genuinely surprised they haven't been more reflective of feedback received as my recollection of DA2 DLC was that it seemed to address the major issues people had raised.

I imagine because this DLC was probably started before DA:I shipped

If so surely that should have been equally the case for Legacy in DA2.

As everyone will say to you, "It is only worth $0", because that's how much I think this is overpriced.

It's all in vain though, since the price doesn't go down unlike a hard game copy.

I grudgingly accept the idea of DLC, and that's only if it's priced fairly, which I don't think this is honestly. I'm stuck between wanting to play and wanting to stay true to my views. Prices will only drop in future if we hold our wallets.

Do you know how much after?

Mark Bazeley? now that you mention it, I think it's the same VA.

Fun fact the VA of Abelas is also the VA of male Sith Warrior in the Old Republic.

He stole my voice D:

You're both wrong. The voice belongs to Dark Wolf.

And this is why people shouldn't expect it to play differently from the main game or have more cutscenes etc.  I expected more open areas and fetch style quests because that was what the bulk of the main game contains.

I still can't play the DLC yet due to having a PS4, but I will still pick it up when it's available to me.

Well, clarification: She says that it was completed "after the team finished DAI." That could mean after DAI was in the can but before release.

There are a couple of things that affect the meta-story. I mentioned one before, but there are some from other threads as well. I'll post a few below.

When you get all of the shards and unlock the tomb, as you walk into the room with the coffin in front of you, it's on the wall to the left.

The exact quote is below.
