I've played the DLC as a dwarf and the old Inky gave me a line wondering if Drakon's reach extended to the children of the stone, and I watched one for an elf where he is pleased elves' friendship with Drakon is still strong. Has anyone played or seen that scene as a qunari?

If she is where I think you mean, stick to the left of the map as much as you can. If it's the northern part of the map. Theres 2 ways there but keeping to the left is generally easier and straighter.

Once the demon started talking, I thought it would be an envy demon since it had that same kind of flanging voice. But it's better as a rage demon; it would explain the warpath and the scorched bodies.

You get approval if you win in the arena, when you save Storvacker, and I believe I got some for finding the rock climber and for completing the funeral rites quest.

I have to say, I think the new area is gorgeous and well worth the money, for me.  I loved the whole thing, even the big difficulty increase for my post-game character.  The continuation of the game's theme of considering what constitutes divinity fits well into the overall story.

So I still do plan on writing up a review of the DLC< but I want to wait to play it a second time, and I just don't have a lot of free time right now with research papers and exams looming

I think it is a good DLC. The historical writing is really interesting, the story writing itself is ok, there should have been some love interest interaction. It's odd that Cassandra being such a romantic does not react more to Ameridain and Talana's love story. One would think that Cassandra would contemplate her own relationship with her Inquisitor, especially since Cassandra is so worried about history. Furthermore,  I wish Ameridain got more air time. The boss fights are fun (love the ice dragon) though the 'warmth meter' thing in the temple is very videogamy. The basin area is fantastic, I think it could use a few more secrets; e.g. caves etc. I love the new armor. The weapons however, are just shards of ice, very powerful shards of ice that don't melt ...I think the swords should at least have special hilts to make them seem more like weapons, and not just like something that fell off of the roof of Skyhold...

I clearly wasn't paying much attention when I initially mined it, however, because I only realized I had it while using the tinting table.
