Nah I see a cougar as a lady actively going for younger men just for the sake of superficial reasons.

Well who doesn't like a fit, young body? It's kind of the universal sign of beauty after all. We are all attracted to others on some superficial level, but whether we care to admit it is another thing. I would be just as comfortable dating Tom Hardy, though, and he's older than me by a few years.

I've been labelled both a Cougar and a MILF on this site. Both are pretty insulting.

Not really what I meant but I understand what you are saying. A cougar to me is not "I like a young fit body." but a cougar could be someone actively seeking "prey."
Plays into the name, A cougar would say "let me go to the club for the sole purpose of doing the dirty with a young dude." No emotional connection needed.
 
However, like i said. People can do what they want and I won't judge. As long as no one gets hurt.

Okay, I see what you are saying now. No. I have never gone after young men specifically.

That said, I don't really have a problem with people doing that. Everyone has their own tastes and what one may find attractive, another will not. Perhaps they just like younger lads in the same way that the guys in here are saying they like older women. I'm curious as to what label we give guys in that case? I'm not really well informed on these things.

That is interesting actually. Women seem to have more labels when it comes to situations like this.  I mean even the term "****" if I am not mistaken can be used for both sexes but when someone says that they assume it is a woman.

What do you guys think about women dating men much younger than them self?
I'm asking because it seems to be the thing these days but personally I'm really against it if the age gap is huge like more than 10-15 years.

A friend of mine aged 39 left her husband for a 19 year old kid about 6 month ago.Broke up 18 years of marriage with 3 kids for someone that young. 3 months later the new boyfriend left her for someone his own age.
Now my big sister, who is/was single, just introduced her new 20 year old boyfriend to the family. She's 38. It looks absolutely ridiculous and im finding it hard to understand how she can be attracted to, what I would consider, a kid.

What are your guys opinions?
