Women with guys half their age.

I'm asking because it seems to be the thing these days but personally I'm really against it if the age gap is huge like more than 10-15 years.
A friend of mine aged 39 left her husband for a 19 year old kid about 6 month ago.Broke up 18 years of marriage with 3 kids for someone that young. 3 months later the new boyfriend left her for someone his own age.
Now my big sister, who is/was single, just introduced her new 20 year old boyfriend to the family. She's 38. It looks absolutely ridiculous and im finding it hard to understand how she can be attracted to, what I would consider, a kid.
What are your guys opinions?

I, personally love older women. I am in my mid-thirties & cannot date anyone under 30. The ones in their forties are just so... sure of themselves.
It is a huge turn-on

I can see things from your end, and also you're in your thirties so not really a kid anymore. It's the other way round that I'm having a problem with, a woman in her thirties or forties liking what is not far from being a teenager.

Also, there may be a... sexual agenda

I actually have a friend whose sister married a dude who is like 7 or 8 years younger than she. Met in Canada during a vacation, hit it off and got married the next year kind of like something from a storybook romance.

I personally would never do it. I don't like big age gaps. I will always prefer men close to my age or older. I can't see myself with someone even just 3 years younger than me. I think that is where I would draw the line.
I never want to be a cougar that's for sure.
But I don't think bad of anyone who decides to be in a relationship like that. Whatever makes them happy.

Eh. I think it's a little weird but at the same time age is but a number. I've met many 20 something's who act like they're in their 40's. And 40 yearolds who haven't left their college days behind them. My cousin is married to a man who is 48 and she is 28 or 29 ( I don't remember lol) But they're pretty smitten with each other. Weather that's a mask or legitimate could be up for debate, but they seem genuinely happy together.
I think many older men and women date younger people to feel sexy and alive again. They're older now and want to feel like they're still desirable. Maybe like a mid-life crisis type thing.
But I don't know much I suppose.
Live and let live that sort of thing.

Just call her a cougar all the time.
It worked when I was in a similar situation.

I think people should keep their nose out of other peoples business. It's their life and let them do what they want as long as they aren't hurting anyone or making it a social justice movement they never shut up about and run it into the ground or just become nothing but annoying.

The only issue with the age difference is when it's that vast it's likely the younger one is going to change a fair bit as they grow up so it adds an extra layer of complications.

Don't you mean it's the same thing as gold digging? Wouldn't the reverse of gold digging be getting with someone poor? It's the reverse of gold diggers, nothing new.
I'm confused.

I thought gold diggers were young people with rich old people? Wouldn't that make it poor old people with rich young people.
