So you feel you are helping by giving the OP what you claim he craves?

Not to be an ass, but does he/she look like he/she need help?

I like Inquisition, obviously or i wouldn't post here in my away-from-home time, but at the same time the Bioware stans are like at Beyonce level.  It's like the Beyhive if you dare criticize the game or company.  You're a troll, an attention ****** or the "haven't we heard this before"?

If you disagree with a feedback thread, you disagree.  No one needs to be labeled an attention ****** or whatever.

(to Rawgrim) I'm going to have to disagree with you on that since I have trouble following Lilithor's feedback to the point where I see certain points as contradictory like "In fact lore-story-wise I love Skyrim above all TES games" to "Also I don't even like TES and their lore on gods and dragons and EVERY SINGLE RACE".

Then there is not presenting something to back up their claims of Bioware copying cultures fromr real life and other fantasy and how the "rest are muslim, jew, barbarians, greeks, spanish, french, gypsy and so forth". There are only mentions but no comparisons. Not even when Lilithor claims it is "clearly just a copy, even the plot" of something related to a Martin.

The Martin plot is pretty much DA:O. Ostagar\The Wall falling, and an ancient enemy spills into the lands. Political drama getting in the way. The nightswatch\the wardens are basically the same. Even their oaths are exactly the same. The royal family has dragon blood. Blood Magic. Dragons returning to the lands after being gone for a long time. You clearly see where they have taken huge chunks of "inspiration" from.

The rest is just him ranting about his opinions, really.

Rawgrim has stated his opinion on Bioware games and the company's current direction in the past, but no one is calling him an attention ******. Now compare him to the OP and note the differences.,

No more than anyone else on this forum.  I admit that if I could be home either playing the game or loving up on my BF I wouldn't be on here.  I am spending a cray amount of time posting about a game.

If we all think about it...you could apply that to all of us who could be at a soup kitchen helping, going out to a restaurant with live people, spending time with our families, or writing our politicians instead of fighting over a game on an online forum.

Let's not kid ourselves here.

So you've never liked any Dragon Age game, then?

I never loved. I liked Origins a lot and DA2 a bit. But never got over the lack of classes and races. Inquisition removed stats distribution and broke my fragile heart =(

Just when I thought the whiners could not find any more ways to b*tch... a thread like this popes up.

So we should give everyone a cookie because they didn't call Rawgrim one?  What part of Feedback is eluding people?  Dude gave his feedback.  People don't like it.  Oh ****** well.

It's a game.  We're all talking about a game.

Bioware exec: "Oh gosh, this random internet nobody is right! We can't let this charade go on any longer. Guys, cancel the DLC! Hell, shut it all down! We're not making video games anymore."

Bioware worker: "But sir, there's like...a lot of other people who are really excited for this DLC. Maybe we could wait until--"

Bioware exec: "No! Don't you see?! Some random person on the internet, based on absolutely no information whatsoever, said that releasing this DLC makes our game just like Skyrim!"

Bioware worker: "But that doesn't make any sense. We're just adding new quests to expand on a bit of unexplored lore. If that makes us just like Skyrim, then every RPG ever would be Skyrim. And besides, people like Skyrim."

Bioware exec: "Doesn't matter. What's done is done. Now help me burn all of our profit money as penance for our sin of daring to create additional content for our products."

This course of action is VERY advisable. I will dream of it this night, thanks. Have you considered working for Bioware? I'm willing to play games with lines of dialogue like this.

Please. Mindlessly b**ching and complaining is not feedback. Angrily ranting with no coherent central premise is not feedback.

(to Rawgrim) Ah see, that would be the sort of examples needed to provide a bit more understanding to the post because otherwise I would have no idea what Lilithor was referencing or even who Martin was. I'm familiar with the author and his works but that does not mean I'd know who he was based solely on the name because it could be a firstname or a surname. Whether one agrees with the claims presented is another thing. Thank you, I appreciate the clarification, Rawgrim.

Providing examples, context and drawing comparison while keeping it structured goes a long way to providing coherent feedback.

I agree, name calling isn't fair. Personally I'm just genuinely baffled as to how one can say that they have "made the game worse" and completely lambast a piece of DLC that we have no info for besides what, seven screenshots max? :/

Exactly, there are Bioware stans on all sides.

Vikings are overrated. I live in Norway, so the scenery in Skyrim is an everyday sight to me.

Morrowind actually had the vikings too. One of the expansion packs for it takes place in the north.

It does, and Skyrim has an expansion on exactly the same island as in Morrowind.

Hang on, Skyrim is copying Morrowind, that's not allowed, was Skyrim not Morrowind enough?!  :P

Skyrim was not Morrowind enough, no. Too dumbed down.

Actually, both of them copy TES1 - Arena. That game had the entire world in it. Morrowind, Skyrim, Blackmarch. Everything.

Sorry, I'm one of those PC Master Race. Don't even know the name of consoles =P

Which doesn't change the fact that if Bioware were to embrace your recommendation, release a toolkit and rely solely on modders, then 4 out of 5 (or 80%) of platforms DAI supports would not get any DLC.  This means Bioware would have to invest resources to create a toolkit but could not use DLC as a selling point for most of the platforms DAI supports.  Yea, not gonna happen.  Oh, and Mr. PC Master Race, have you gotten used to using a Controller yet (like us lowly Console Peasants have to) since DAI seems to have been coded primarily with Consoles and a Controller in mind.?  I think we'll just leave it up to Bioware to provide DAI DLC, unless a alternate solution that would accommodate all platforms (including PC) can be found...

Actually, although I can no longer play it, as the graphics are now too clunky for me to bear,

the rise of the Nerevarine remains the gold standard of story telling as far as I'm concerned  :)

Let me rephrase it: I care not for what happens to consoles. In fact I know Inquisition is what it is because of consoles, don't expect any sympathy from me after ruining my series.

It's not their (or my) fault.

On the internet (and particularly on BSN), Poe's Law rules supreme.

I seriously wonder how you people find the time to complain about something that..... isn't out yet. Wow.

This is not how criticism works.
