Whenever I've noticed, it seems to me that all you see is Geth kits doing way better than Quarian kits. It's like there's an inherent imbalance that makes the Geth classes better, maybe intended or power creep but it's there.

 

The same thing applies to their weapons.

 

Geth Plasma Shotgun

Geth Pulse Rifle

Geth Spitfire

Geth Plasma SMG

Javelin

Talon

 

Arc Pistol

Adas

Widow

You can clearly see since you know the Geth have an answer for everything with their weapons.

 

Sniper rifles clearly are in favor of the Javelin, the best sniper rifle.

Shotguns, one could consider the reegar but realize that it will never be as fun as the Geth Plasma Shotgun that can be shot while staggered, not will the reegar ever be as versatile.

 

The talon is delectably better than the arc pistol as you shouldn't be hiding far away from things like banshees and phantoms, you should be in their face firing away to victory. It's the best way to play to have the most fun.

 

The Adas is just not good. It suffers from lag, despite being one of the best Quarian weapons, especially on a destroyer, but what advantages it has are overshadowed by three flavors of bullet hoses that do the same exact thing, but without any latency issues.

 

I'm not sure how to think and feel about this. I was hoping that you would help me.

Pretty sure the Talon is a Cerberus or Alliance weapon and not a Geth weapon.

OT: I would say yes the Geth characters and Weapons are better but that is because I'm better using Geth. I struggle using the Quarians.

The Arc pistol is one of the best pistols IMO.

Anyways I'm sure this thread will turn into a shitfest soon so I'll just leave now.

Also, the GPR sucks, the GPSMG is meh, and the GPS works great!....on host.

 

Reegar is arguably the best shotty in the game safe for the Claymoar, and same goes for the Arc Pistol in it's class.

You said "Geth/Quarian kits" in your OP then listed the weapons......not sure what the question is, so I'll answer both. 

 

The Javelin is the best weapon between both, but I'd say that Quarian weapons as a collective are better. The Spitfire is literally used for joke games (ever run one on a Destroyer, then try to sprint?) and is pitiful for how heavy it is. I like the GPS and GPR, but not more than I like the Adas. The Reegar, while it is the butt of most of BSN's jokes, is the nastiest weapon in the game, albeit broken and terrible. And we're all familiar with the glory that is the Arc Pistol. 

 

As far as kits go, an experienced player will do much better with Geth kits than Quarian kits because Hunter Mode, save the Juggernaut; my disdain for that kit alone should give the W to Quarians. However, it's hard to argue that Quarians are better knowing how overpowered Hunter Mode is; the Arc Grenades on the Male Quarian kits make it a closer debate, and the Quarksman makes a strong case as a weapons class, but being able to get RoF & Accuracy bonuses without a cooldown (Hunter Mode again) are just too much to pass up IMO.

 

I say Geth kits are better but Quarian weapons get the nod to me.

I like the geth and quarian kits equally tbh. The only geth kit I dont personally like is the juggernaut. Its just way to clunky and slow for my playstyle. As for the weapons go, give me the arc pistol any day, along with the javelin and the gps. Cant count out the og widow though.

As far as OPness of weapons goes, Quarian > Geth.

 

As far as OPness of kits goes, Geth > Quarian.

Geth kits are powerhouses. Quarian kits are slighltly less powerful, but still powerhouses.

As for weapons, both are good. (except the 2 Geth plasma pea shooters)

The difference is that I can play QM pretty well on Gold and it's a lot of fun, while GI is the inferior and very squishy version of AIU (yes, I know GI is a good character, just harder to play). Also, QM is unique while GI is just another infiltrator. So I vote Quarians.

Arc Pistol is the best weapon in the game. Reegar is the most broken weapon in the game.

 

Even though the Geth have a great sniper rifle in the Javelin and a decent shotgun in the GPS. I would still give the nod to the Quarians.

 

Widow is of debatable origin. I would definitely call it Quarian in origin but there is plenty of debate over that.

That's why I said "IMO" My remark wasn't about how potent the kit can be, it was about how potent it is in my hands - and Marksman scores top by far, not to mention his unique abilities - unlike the hoard of engineers you can barely tell apart. And Geth Trooper is just an inferior version of Vorcha Soldier / Vorcha Sentinel, at least if you focus on the flamer like I do. Much squishier than Vorcha, despite all his shields and fortification.
