Surely he can't just be referring to the engine, I just found it odd that he would say that you know? I just feel something diffrent about the Normandy/ME3 after Thessia. And every choice i made after Thessia is so depressing.

You can even hear it. It sounds like a trumpet or something. And there is a rumbling all around as well.

And ya, Thessia onward was where you REALLY see the rushed design. From dialog to level design and finally story. It just goes from bad to worse.,..oh what could have been...

EDIT: Seriously, though, I can't believe the humming thing went nowhere after the deliberate callback to ME1 and Kaidan hearing the Relay Monument humming.

While playing the game the first time I was worried that Vega might be falling victim to indoctrination. But after completing the game it was fairly clear that was just a throwaway line that never leads to anything. Maybe it was hold over from an early draft of the script where Shepard was intended to fall victim to indoctrination, but in the shipped game no member of the Normandy crew is indoctrinated.
