I know on a lot of forums its sometimes a fun pastime to include one's self and others in an interactive or online story, but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this in real life like has anyone you know (school or work) written you or a parody/homage of you into a story? My earliest experiences with friend fiction was back in high school (surprising I know), this guy I vaguely knew and shared a few classes with had a hobby of written sci-fi and action stories and included classmates in them. The catch was that he included people he didn't necessarily hate, but disliked in a sense and made them villains or canon fodder/red-shirts. I was perusing one of the LP threads where everyone was blaming Sim for their premature deaths and it made me think back that time in high school. Fond memories *sob* ![]()

There's a book publisher that does that. Look up "Joe Buckley" and Baen Publishing.

Not a written fiction per say. But a friend and I had a rp battle over text messages that lasted for like 5 days.
"And there the Ice Queen lay. Body blooded and beaten but no less graceful. For the Mage had taken what he came for. But at what cost. Who is left as his equal now?"
I was the mage she was the Ice Queen. She's pretty cool lol
*nerd out!*
