Any news on the DLC and any involvement with Solas?

Is it best to do after Solas leaves the group or before beating the last boss?

Nothing plot-wise involving Solas from what I can tell. He would be just like any other companion if he was with us. 

 

I've been playing it Post-Campaign and it is actually really neat how much content it has referring to the fact you've beaten Corypheus.

Nothing related to him. You can do this DLC at any point in the story. Similar to DLCs from DA2. Big map, big dragon, new loot, schematics. A few new banter though. Lots of codexes.

I'm assuming people are "OMG SOLAS"-ing just because he's in the picture... Wonder if they'd be doing the same if it were Blackwall or Cole.

No. Cole and Cassandra were in the picture as well.

Excellent! I will play it with my little elf who finished the main story a long time ago. My new Adaar is too low-lvl and I want to see the dlc right away. Really looking to playing it :-)

Yeah, but Cole and Blackwall aren't an Ancient Elven God that decided to leave your Inquisition and go do a probably very stupid thing on his own that might change the face of the world forever. Just saying.
