Me too, though I could do without more collectibles, rifts and shards.I don't mind more explorable areas, just hope they have more focus on story

Same with collectibles and shards, though rifts will probably still happen because closing the Breach doesn't stop rifts that already appeared

ok, so I've finished the campaign before launching the DLC. So...why are there rifts in the new area?
seems a little incongruent.
Not really. You hear talk in-game that just because the Breach was sealed doesn't mean there aren't rifts in the other areas.
If the Breach being sealed meant that all rifts everywhere were sealed, there wouldn't be any rifts after In Your Heart Shall Burn.

Oblivion gates actually closed though, thanks to Martin.
Yeah, but I was mainly referring to the chaos during the crisis that led to the rise of groups like the Thalmor... from what I can remember, the Oblivion Crisis lasted for a long time in Bethesda's canon, regardless of how long it may have taken the player to get Martin to where he needed to be. So there was a long period of chaos during which the other nations had to deal with daedra without any clue as to how to actually end the threat. In that respect, the two crises are similar... Not identical, but they have some things in common.

That's something I would like to see, but it does bring up a question if these Rifts really are springing up beyond southern Thedas. Will they find another way to close them? Because having the Inquisitor do a world tour hardly seems convenient (Though possibly a good excuse for moving to a new protagonist)Yeah, but I was mainly referring to the chaos during the crisis that led to the rise of groups like the Thalmor... from what I can remember, the Oblivion Crisis lasted for a long time in Bethesda's canon, regardless of how long it may have taken the player to get Martin to where he needed to be. New PC: Hey, why isn't the Inquisitor helping us out here in Nevarra?
Companion: Oh, she's sealing Rifts in Antiva.

I am going to be horrified if all the DLCs take this shape.

I agree, as someone who actually really liked this DLC, for what it was.
